    This is one of Taylor’s best albums—here, you can really see how much she’s evolved and matured as an artist. Her songwriting skills are incredible, so much so that I think she could have a flourishing career as a writer or an author of books.

    Evermore is telling a story, love, despair, hurt, longing and mystery. The lyrics is very heartfelt and it brings us to that storyline and feel what they are feeling. I love no body no crime with my interest in true crime and Taylor’s talent bring it!

    Taylor just keeps getting better and better. Folklore is such an amazing album, l didn’t think she could top that but then she released evermore. This type of sound suits her voice and lyrics the best. Personally, l think “Gold rush”, “no body, no crime” and the title track “evermore” are the highlights of the album. Truly her best work to this date.

    It's a beautiful album on both lyrics and instruments sides, its may sounds a little bit like Folklore because Taylor says this is the continue story about The Folklore forest, but when you listen carefully, you will realize that the words, the feeling in this album is more "gentle" and harder than from Folklore.     One would think that folklore's little sister would have a hard time following up the magical woodland tales that folklore is. However, Taylor managed to explore these dreamy sceneries even deeper with evermore and creates a safe space for the listener that makes the hard times we are living in currently seem easier to comprehend. It's nostalgia on a whole different level and somehow it's a mix between looking back on the past, reflecting today and being hopeful for the future.
    Taylor was not scared to try new sounds and back further away from her American pop girl image. This album is adult and wiser and even though the concept is similar to folklore, it stands for it’s own and it grows with every listen. The lyrics seem more like beautiful poems than songs and it's definitely worth to take the time to fully understand what she's actually trying to express rather than just listen to it on the fly. Taylor once again proved that her ability to create a different world with her words is unmatched and incomparable to other artists for over a decade now and doesn't lose quality through quantity.
    Evermore is the perfect closing track and captures the gut wrenching, heart-stopping waves of hurt that come to you when you listen to the album front-to-back in a hauntingly enchanting way. Needless to say that Taylor found the perfect producers in Jack and Aaron, the trinity is a match made in heaven and it really seems like a collective body of work. It's just as much Jack's and Aaron's album as it is Taylor's because you can feel their sonic influence more than you usually can on records.

    Incredible. we could argue about if it’s better than her sister Folklore but one thing for sure: nobody does it like Taylor. Nobody can. Even if she didn’t reach as high as Folklore - which i couldn’t decide yet - she would still outshine every mainstream artist out there with her talent. If folklore is the best album of 2020, evermore is the second... or maybe the best?

The opening track and lead single, willow, is a great song, it has much more potential than cardigan and is definitely a step into the right direction. The entirety of this album is often compared to folklore, if so, this definitely blew its sister out of the wind; to sum it up, evermore is mature, folklore is innocent. The storytelling focuses on much mature subjects, like murder on “no body, no crime”. Swift has made an irreversibly good decision to change paces from pop to alternative from folklore, and now she’s digging deeper. One or two songs may be a little slow for my liking, but nevertheless it’s a cohesive album with a top tier opener and closer, evermore, the title track, stands out with the lyricism, change of tempo and Bon Iver. Some of my favorites would be champagne problems and ‘tis the damn season (which was unexpected). I will definitely be listening to this and folklore for the next few months nonstop.… Expand

But I must admit that Swift's follow-up to the already very chill 'folklore' is a great album that takes everything I usually dislike but transforms it into something very fitting to end this troubled year. It makes a great companion with songs that are very casual to get into, but can go as deep as you are willing to dive in,I'm not a fan of country music, nor a fan of slow jams. But I must admit that Swift's follow-up to the already very chill 'folklore' is a great album that takes everything I usually dislike but transforms it into something very fitting to end this troubled year. It makes a great companion with songs that are very casual to get into, but can go as deep as you are willing to dive in, something that I think is very hard to achieve on a song, and this album does track after track.

    Literally a perfect album!! It expands on Folklore without feeling repetitive. It is a breath of fresh air that makes you feel every emotion distinctively and all at once.

    Eu achei um álbum com músicas leves e gostosas de escutar, todas as músicas ali se completam de alguma forma, passa uma história diferente de muitos álbuns na indústria da música, sem falar de como ela teve cuidado em fazer o ritmo e escrever as músicas

    Subjetivamente pienso que es el mejor álbum de la vida, y objetivamente también, no tengo pruebas pero tampoco me importa tenerlas, con que yo lo piense me basta. Antes de escucharlo era homosexual, pero ahora soy evermoresexual, me he enamorado de este álbum, aunque pensé que no superaría a folklore, lo hizo. Evermore es mi vida, mi religión, mis sueños, mis anhelos, y mis ganas de vivir.Subjetivamente pienso que es el mejor álbum de la vida, y objetivamente también, no tengo pruebas pero tampoco me importa tenerlas, con que yo lo piense me basta. Antes de escucharlo era homosexual, pero ahora soy evermoresexual, me he enamorado de este álbum, aunque pensé que no superaría a folklore, lo hizo. Evermore es mi vida, mi religión, mis sueños, mis anhelos, y mis ganas de vivir. Cada canción desde willow hasta evermore son el aire que respiro, el agua que bebo, y el alimento que nutrirá a mis futuras generaciones, y también será quien me acompañará por el resto de mi vida *llora con drama*... Taylor siempre sabe como superarse y está en constante descubrimiento y trabajo, todas sus canciones tienen alma y corazón. Ahora una breve review porque quiero y porque puedo: que siguiera el mismo camino que folklore no pudo ser una mejor decisión, pues expande el universo de este pequeño "bosque encantado" que creó antes y del cual aún queda por explorar, con letras llenas de poesía exquisita, metáforas tan inteligentes que le brindan uno y mil significados a cada párrafo.     Even though we get a catchy moment of goofy, snarling country midway through, the album is a result of the emotional clarity that a year in quarantine provided. Swift has written about curdling relationships splendidly in the past, but there's a new dimension to her writing that wasn’t there before. Onward.
