    Evermore is not only a continuation of folklore it’s a show of taylor’s ways of speaking to an audience. I felt many different emotions when listening to evermore then when I listened to folklore although she managed to make the album still have the same feeling of comfort.     Taylor Swift again delivering an impeccable work, with perfect compositions and productions, there is no defect. The sister of folklore remains one of the best albums of that year and one of Taylor's career, what she delivered this year is spectacular, showing more and more her songwriting potential, she wanted to decide the best of the album Evermore.

    such an amazing album, a contusion from folklore sonically and lyrically... taylor approves again that she is such a lyrical genius again. songs like “gold rush”, “no body, no crime” and “willow” she brought special different sounds! one of her best albums to date congrats taylor ;)

"closure" in particular is a song where Swift's lyrics and delivery blend well (against all odds) with busy production.

    Stand outs on this album include: "no body, no crime" (feat. HAIM) — a 2020 version of "Goodbye Earl" with a couple of killer twists. "'tis the damn season" which is to Christmas songs what Die Hard is to Christmas movies. "happiness" — a song that is simultaneously heartbreaking for what's lost while hopeful for what is to come.

    Finally, as always, Swift closes the album with a sign that day is breaking. On "evermore" (feat. Bon Iver), Swift and Vernon trade lines a la "exile" recapping a relationship — and our shared trauma of 2020 — before declaring "This pain [won't] be for Evermore."    … Expand

    One of the best album in 2020. This sister record of her previous album, folklore, brings in quite similar but extraordinary melodies and symphony. The beautiful, storytelling lyrics and the haunting yet mesmerising sound of her voice magically compliments this whole album. Sonically, it's quite similar to folklore but some of the songs are built better.

    Love it!!! Some songs really stand out for me like no body, no crime and also willow is the perfect single. Love the stories and imagination of Taylor Swift. I like this better than folklore on my initial listen.

Although it has been named folklore's little sister it remains unique and full of new stories and sounds. Even if it is a brand new album, it feels like greeting an old friend. 10/10.

    Beautiful! This album is an amazing follow up to its predecessor folklore. It truly is a sister album. Not a single song was a skip. Each one holds so much depth that even I have yet to completely understand the complexity of each song. Absolutely phenomenal Taylor does it again.

    2020 brought so much sadness and darkness to the world and for sure it wasn't a good year for many of us. Evermore , just like folklore , is the light in a sky full of darkness , filled of stories , emotions and perfect songwriting , it is undoubtedly one of the best albums Taylor has made , and for sure one of the best albums this year. From the magical feeling that "willow" brings to the2020 brought so much sadness and darkness to the world and for sure it wasn't a good year for many of us.     It´s a total improvement since Folklore. It feels even more organic, with catchier melodies and more complex stories, that grow on you faster than Folklore did. Evermore definitely contains some of Taylor´s    Taylor´s reading of the current global situation is a serve, creating an album that we didn´t know we needed (for the second time this year) but that it´s exactly what was lacking.

    Even though we get a catchy moment of goofy, snarling country midway through, the album is a result of the emotional clarity that a year in quarantine provided. Swift has written about curdling relationships splendidly in the past, but there's a new dimension to her writing that wasn’t there before. Onward.
