    Upon first listen, evermore doesn’t sound like the modern day classic folklore (an impossible album to follow) was. However, the slow burn reveals Swift’s most haunting album yet - a deeper dive lyrically and spiritually, a more indie and overcast venture than folklore was, and a masterpiece in beautiful melancholy and aching nostalgia. The record contains some of Swift’s greatest songs toUpon first listen, evermore doesn’t sound like the modern day classic folklore (an impossible album to follow) was. However, the slow burn reveals Swift’s most haunting album yet - a deeper dive lyrically and spiritually, a more indie and overcast venture than folklore was, and a masterpiece in beautiful melancholy and aching nostalgia.     Even more magical than Folklore. Absolutely stunning album, Swift should definitely stay away from Pop sound and stick to this for quite longer.

    This album tastefully ventures further into the indie-pop-folk hybrid Taylor has created. The lyricism and instrumentals seem to be even further developed than Folklore, one could argue. Although Folklore seems to be more sonically cohesive, Evermore is the perfect sister album and dissects some very complex topics into digestible art.

    This was as beautiful as folklore. Taylor is one of my favorite artists and she masters the talent of telling all types of stories. evermore is a wonderful sister album to folklore.

    Folklore's litte siste proves to be everything and more. Not what we expected, not just what we needed for this holiday season and for the years to come, it proves to be a body of work of an artist who knows she's a legend and that this right right is going to become eternal, and a folklore for evermore.

I found folklore to sound sadder with happier lyrics, and evermore sounds happier with sadder lyrics. The songs are genius, particularly 'no body, no crime'.     Folklore is the younger, wide-eyed and socially anxious sister with an ambitious, passionate side. Evermore is the elder, has been through a lot but has been able to find happiness in the end. This album gives off the vibe of something fundamentally scarred, but there's also the feeling of "I've made it", content, calmed, accomplished. This is such a beautiful mood.

    Taylor manages to take what she did in folklore, and improve it with evermore. I've somehow ended up liking evermore even more than folklore and I've barely been able to listen to anything else since it was released.

    The best part about Taylor Swift is that even her deluxe tracks are just as good as the rest of the album. There is much substance to be found in these songs.

    This is an album for adults, full of the type of pain and loss that only someone who has come through the tunnel and can look back at it with clear eyes can write. A lot of people won’t understand it. A lot of high school kids who just lost their first love will think they understand it. But it’s a beautiful, intricate, heartbreaking ode to a nostalgic revisiting of ones past losses.

    It is an excellent album and Taylor was very perceptive in all the tracks mainly as champagne problems and willow are phenomenal, her best work without a doubt.

    A great album throughout. The album starts with the beautiful willow, the video of which is just as beautiful as the song. The lyrics on this album are some of Taylor’s best.

There are some song that may make you think about some your major questions of you life like "tolerate it", "happiness", "evermore".     Even though we get a catchy moment of goofy, snarling country midway through, the album is a result of the emotional clarity that a year in quarantine provided. Swift has written about curdling relationships splendidly in the past, but there's a new dimension to her writing that wasn’t there before. Onward.
