    The album is very cohesive, with "brutal" as a perfect opener and "hope ur ok" as an amazing closer and one of my fav tracks, "traitor" and "enough for you" must be the best songs on the album, the tracklisting is perfect and songs are so versatile, very impressive for a debut album

    EXCELENTE. Es uno de los álbumes debut que escuché en la vida, la inspiración en sus artistas favoritos como Lorde o Taylor Swift está presente pero no le quita lo bueno. Las letras son geniales. Olivia Rodrigo es una de las grandes promesas de la industria musical.

    Best album of 2021 so far, I connected with the lyrics deeply and the way he played with the sounds surprised me positively although it was something I was concerned about. It is worth remembering that it is a debut album with only 3 composers and 2 producers and totally diversified, with ballads, indie pop, pop-rock, a taste of folk can also feel jazz in a more cohesive way.     Such a good album. A lot of the songs transported me back to being a kid with a lot of older sounds used. Her vocals are amazing and the lyricism shows that she has a creativity to her artistry.

    I really love this album. Drivers License slapped hard. I'm not a teenager but I can relate to what she wanted to say in this album. Not only talk about heartbreak and breakup, this album tells us about how to deal with insecurity, self-esteem, friendship, etc. A very good and solid album from a young artist. With SOUR, Olivia gives us the promising future for her career and discography.

    This is by far one of the best debuts EVER. She is an amazing writer. And to the people saying "it's all the same subject" maybe it'd because she wrote this last year?? On her own?? She was not planning to release it all but just released drivers license just for the fun of it. She did not expect the reception it got so she just kept making the other songs that she had already made

But after listening to this album more carefully, I realized that each word has so much heartwarming. They're the only 2 tracks where I've experienced the same situations so the lyrics hit so hard. My favorite lines have to be "All I see is what I should be; happier, prettier, jealousy, jealousy" and "Cause who am I, if not exploited?
    And I'm so sick of 17

    It is really a great debut album. She’s new to the industry we need to cut her some slack. I think because of Billie Eillish’s massive debut we’ve set a standard for teenagers to debut with an icebreaker album which is not fair. Pop is a massive genre. However, she did break many records with her debut single, she shows much potential with that and her debut album. More power to her!!

    Sour is definitely one of the better debut albums, and better albums of the year. While it’s not the best. You’re definitely allowed to repeat most of these songs. With songs such as ‘Brutal’, ‘Traitor’ and ‘Jealousy, Jealousy’, this album should definitely be considered a top-tier album of the year.

    It’s so perfect and beautiful! Olivia Rodrigo is truly a lyrical genius. She really can bring up emotions and feelings in us that we didn’t even know was buried down in us.

    Es un excelente álbum en mi opinión,al principio cuando los escuche por primera vez pensé que no tendría futuro y caería en algo básico,pero conforme vas escuchándolo te envuelves y te teletransportas en un mundo mágico aparte los cambios que tiene con rock pop country etc
    En pocas palabras una obra de arte.

Love how brutally honest and vulnerable Olivia is in her songwriting - it definitely captures all of the unpleasant emotions, insecurities, and angst that plagues the teenage years. I can see her being a career artist who will be in the music industry for a loooong time. Can't wait to see what else she has in store, but for now, it seems thatThis is genuinely an amazing debut album!     Amazing debut album! I love how olivia put brutal as the first track and hope ur ok as the last track. I rarely get goosebumps when I listen to songs, but some songs in this album give me goosebumps even after I listen to them multiple times.

    Sour, for the most part, is a pop album that dips its toes into the alt-pop and bedroom pop subgenres, specifically spending most of its time in the latter. ... Rodrigo's lo-fi deep cuts that were made in the shadow of "Drivers License" can sound a bit repetitive. Her craft as a songwriter is especially evident on tracks like "Enough For You", "Happier", or "Hope Ur Ok", but the acoustic complexion these songs were going for could have benefitted from a bit more background noise.

    By the end of the album, Rodrigo has established her voice and showed listeners that she's not afraid to be vulnerable. SOUR is a strong debut that vividly illustrates the beautiful chaos of being inside a teenage girl's brain.
