Aug 31, 2021Not the best album but there's a couple good tracks. I didn't feel that excitement of the past albums. I'm kinda disappointed.
-
Nov 19, 2021This is a really fair record. Lorde's comeback worthed the waiting. She served once again.

Aug 20, 2021This was just disappointing. Weak songwriting and bland production, leading to the whole middle of the album just blending together.
-
Aug 20, 2021I'm no the biggest Lorde fan, but I like her music. Unfortunately, 'Solar Power' feels not that exciting and empowering. There's a couple of good tracks here, but the rest is filler, in my opinion. I think Jack Antonoff's involvement is to blame here. The way he tries to incorporate Lana Del Rey and others' vibe into Lorde's music is kind of disappointing.
-
Aug 20, 2021Casi todas las canciones se parecen mucho entre ellas respecto al sonido. Las letras dejan mucho que desear. Para una espera de 4 años esto no cumple las expectativas.

Aug 20, 2021It is important to choose a good album theme, but more importantly, to express the theme properly. Lorde's latest album didn't really show that important thing.
Except for 1-2 songs (Fallen Fruit, Mood Ring) , all songs are boring and similar and normal as if they were in the box.
4.5 -
Aug 21, 2021What a powerful album!!!! Very different from Lorde, and that is so good wathing her grow and change.
-
Aug 21, 2021Please THIS ALBUM IS AMAZING, f*ck the professional critics who's comparing this PIECE OF ART with her another PIECE OF ART "Melodrama", Lorde come to bless us, she did it.
-
Aug 20, 2021So fckin booooooooring, all the songs sounds like the same, I know it's a "new phase" but maybe happiness it's not for Lorde, I mean, good for her but this album is a total floop.
-
Aug 20, 2021WOOW this album is such a masterpiece, lorde you’re a goddess and you know that, come in summer!!
-
Aug 20, 2021If you get this album you get it. If you don't, you don't. If you know, you know. And if you don't know like I honestly feel bad for you. I don't have the vocabulary to sit here and explain, either you get the vibe or you don;t get the vibe! So proud of Ella. This music sh*t- SHE GETS IT

Aug 20, 2021As she promised, she´s back with an amazing album to dance to under sunlight.
-
Aug 20, 2021Lorde’s newly released album saved me from the pandemic. Hail to the queen!
-
Aug 21, 2021A grower. Definitely deserves more attention and care before the "critics" press enter here
-

-
Aug 20, 2021Este álbum é perfeito, e só minha opinião importa. Lorde se superou mais uma vez, não é um Melodrama é claro, mas também não é um Pure Heroine.
-
Aug 20, 2021Amazing comebak. Artist who innovates, those who expected a Melodrama 2.0 can leave.
-
Aug 20, 2021She is so smart and the concept of the album is beautiful, Lorde knows perfectly how not to get out of the color in all the songs of the album.
-
Aug 23, 2021
-
Aug 30, 2021Boring, hardly any shining moments. I was not a fan of this direction. I wish that there had been more energy and less holistic healing ritual.
-

-
Aug 20, 2021Poorly constructed project, album too shallow and lacking cohesion, too weak commercially, totally forgettable.
-
Aug 20, 2021masterpiece of an album! the people who are hating on ella just cant accept this isn’t melodrama 2. while it sounds very similar to other music jack has helped produce the lyrics and ellas vocals make up for it. the growth from lorde from pure heroine to melodrama and now solar power has been a joy to experience. stop running off with what other people are saying and enjoy the album :D
-
Aug 20, 2021new era - new Lorde, different from both of her previous album. She really did a new thing not a melodrama 2.0
-
Aug 20, 2021once again she surpasses everyone’s expectations. If you can’t relate, you’re not riding the coattails of happiness and laughter
-
Aug 20, 2021Meh but there are two cute songs worth to try in this album ,she shoulve made this an EP
-
Aug 20, 2021not a good album at all, melodrama was such a better with high quality. Kwkakakakw
-
Aug 20, 2021I expected a lot more, I thought this album was quite weak, i like the last her album
-
Aug 20, 2021Urge cancelación para Jack Antonoff. Es triste que una gran compositora esté atenida a una persona producción.
-
Aug 20, 2021Are you kidding me? This is art, I love this album, i love it, its incredible and amazing, every people needs to listen
-
Aug 20, 2021Literally so good. Very 2000s and summery vibes from this album. I love how vulnerable and sad some of the songs actually were compared to the singles. This album is definitely an acquired taste and I love it so much.

Aug 20, 2021Worth the long wait! This is out of this world, recalling her last record Melodrama, Solar Power has completely over pass herself as a musician, with the impeccable production of Jack Antonoff, together had become the greatest masterpiece makers. This is new, clean magnificent, transcendental and obviously EPIC.
Congratulations and Thank you Lorde for this amazing record.
Solar Power 100/100 -
Aug 20, 2021After the success of Melodrama, I believe this is rhe best direction could have gone after her hiatus. This screams growth and maturity to me. Of course we're not gonna get a Melodrama 2. That era is done. And I'm loving that lyrically, it's still the same song writing we loved. Just in another era. And this era is what we need the most right now.
-
Aug 20, 2021It's a solid 10. I mean the sounds of the album are magical and she did very well changing her music and experimenting with other sounds.
-
Aug 23, 2021she caught the worst sound she could make after of melodrama, since this new album is all white and boring sounds
-
Aug 20, 2021
-
Aug 20, 2021It's a pretty boring album, the same sounds, it looks like I was listening to a 40-minute song, I don't recommend listening to it
-
Aug 20, 2021Solar Power is Lorde's strongest project. From the nature-inspired production, full of guitars and horns and cicadas, to the melancholic vintage-vibe melodies, this album is the perfect companion for the perfect summers. She never disappoints, truly a masterpiece.

Aug 20, 2021Her best lyrics but her worst music. Everything sounds the same and is boring. Mood Ring is the star of the show.
-
Aug 20, 2021Amaba a lorde pero me decepcionó cuando dijo que no lanzaría Solar Power en CD, ojalá flopee y este álbum sea amarillo, se me sale toda la Stoned at the nail station
-
Aug 24, 2021Not even as close as Melodrama. I’m so sorry but my expectations were higher. Flop.
-
Aug 24, 2021Terrible album. We wanted music and not long, boring narrations. Folklore and evermore are 1000 times better than this album whose no song is up to the mark. I can barely reach the end of a song without feeling bored. Thanks for wasting my time.
-

-
Aug 20, 2021She tries some brand new sounds, and she appreciating our nature with her songs. It's so chilling and it's just what we need right in this chaotic moment.
-
Aug 20, 2021This album is an art. Beautifully composed and beautifully sang by Lorde. This album goes in the same tier as Melodrama.
-
Aug 20, 2021The lyrics are amazing as usual, there's something about Lorde that only her can capture the feelings and put it on words. She was absolutely right when she said that this album was a little bit about New Zealand, when I listen to it I feel myself in a New Zealand Beach in the summer with my friends. Another album of her that's so well producted. Tks Lorde and Jack Antonoff for the AMAZING job
-
Aug 20, 2021she never misses, such an amazing album. lorde queen of alternative
-
Aug 20, 2021lorde never disappoints. the album is very different from her previous releases but the quality is still as high as it ever was.
-
Aug 20, 2021I **** love this album, I don’t know where all that hate is coming from. It’s so different, but so beautiful!!!
-
Aug 20, 2021Beautifully produced, lyrical masterpiece of an album which is being doubted because of critics. so nicely done and graceful.
-
Aug 20, 2021It's my favorite Lorde's album, the evolution in vocals, compositions and melodies are very surprising, it's all very cohesive from start to finish.
-
Aug 20, 2021Her best album, and now I'm not her fan I'm really dissapointed i feel bad for the music, David Bowie was wrong

Aug 20, 2021Lorde really acknowledges the reinvention, this album is a work of art. Unlike Melodrama and Pure Heroine this is a more laid back and mature album, she knows re-invention and is amazing How can you talk about issues that happen to you or have ever happened to you, 10/10
-
Aug 20, 2021Cohesive album but very hard to finish. Nothing sticks throughout and I was expecting so much better from Lorde.

Aug 20, 2021most songs here have no memorable melodies, choruses or bridges, the lyrics are shallow and giving off major annoying rich white girl who talks to plants and just learned about shakras and yoga. very disappointing.

Aug 20, 2021Lorde grows up and so do I.
Her songwriting should be awarded by the Grammy folks.
Melodrama lost ALBUM of the year and it was such a masterpiece, but Elle went all the way to the Antarctic sea to bake a priceless album. It’s 2021 and it’s so difficult finding a great, pure and genuine work art like this one.
So glad Ella came back -

Aug 22, 2021It's almost like Lorde didn't even want to make an album. Extremely disappointing, it's not even debatable I don't feel that this is in every way inferior to her previous 2 masterpieces.
-
Aug 20, 2021This is such a transcendental album, holy **** i love it. Favs would have to be the path, oceanic feeling, fallen fruit and leader of a new regime.

Aug 20, 2021She just doesn't miss... This album isn't what I expected but I'm glad she tried a different sound and went with how she feels instead of forcing a certain sound just because that's what people are used to hear from her.

Aug 20, 2021Everyone who is open to a new Lorde will love this album. Such a nice, relaxing and calm experience. Perfect for hard times like these.
-
Aug 20, 2021Simplemente creo un álbum perfecto. Proyecta crecimiento. Ese sentimiento aferrado a la transición de tener los 20 a los 30s, todo va estar bien.
-
Aug 21, 2021her worst album, we wait 4 years for this $h!t? she needs to retire because she sucks
-
Aug 20, 2021Lorde demuestra, una vez más, ser la mejor escritora de su generación. Un disco que abraza la tranquilidad y te permite sentir nostalgia por haber dejado atrás la vida dramática de la adolescencia.

Aug 20, 2021I think Lorde's new album "Solar Power" will be a major surprise contender for Album of the Year at the 2022 #GRAMMYs.
Regularly, there are less "popular" albums that win the #GRAMMYs but particularly well produced, beautiful, filled with instruments like Lorde's album. -

Aug 20, 2021This album has a mind of it's own! "It's a new state of mind". The melodies, the Instruments, Lorde's voice and the added FX blended really well to make this masterpiece!
It is a really creative album, with references from great times in music! Amazing! -

Awards & Rankings
-
Aug 30, 2021All these connections Lorde is trying to make: her strange pastiche imagination of the ’70s, that random spoken word interlude by Robyn about climate change, and the themes of “sun healing,” never fully reach each other. Often, they come off as disingenuous and out of touch more than they read as brilliant, or comical. Whether the album is one big prank, or just one majorly failed experiment, the gist of having the “privilege to ignore” is lost in translation. All you are left with is just a handful of pretty alright songs.
-
Aug 26, 2021If you're riding and vibing with Lorde, this bright shapelessness is superb mood music. If you're not riding her wave, Solar Power can seem elusive, even cloying, as it circles and sways with a smile.
-
Aug 26, 2021This might not be the album that everyone wanted from Lorde, but it’s a solid, dreamy effort that deserves exploration. There’s plenty here worthy of attention if you can focus for long enough.
