    Selena went through a lot, but I didn’t see that reflected in this album. She cried more over Bieber than the literal life or death kidney transplant that she didn't mention at all.

    Who told this girl she could sing??? All the tracks look like each other, there isn’t ANY vocal dynamic and the lyrics (except Lose you to love me and Cut of you) are totally generic. She took 4 years to do an album that other singers of her generation would took 2 weeks. That’s it!

    SO many fake 10s on this. Everyone is commenting the same stuff and don’t explain anything. Yes the albums diverse, we get it. But it doesn’t make it good. It’s very lackluster is so many areas. A lot of the tracks were filler and skippable.

    Her best album till date. Selena found her sound on this record. It's really rare to see pop stars who came from kids shows on Disney or Nickelodeon evolve this much in each project, and Gomez did it so perfectly. By far, her best, her most cohesive, most vulnerable, honest, fun body of work. Anyone who wants to kick off the world of trap music and generics sounds should check this out.

    Não há nada de novo aqui, é tudo tão genérico dando aquela impressão de "eu já ouvi isso antes" os vocais não são incríveis da pra perceber bem o uso de autotune, revival continua sendo seu melhor trabalho

    This album is trash. Revival was so good and she decided to whisper in every song and not music just whispers with the same beat for 40 minutes. Not even streaming worthy glad I listened to the leak before it got released

    Overall a really good album , wasn't a fan of "Look at her now" 's lyric Mm-mm-mm, mm-mm-mm, mm-mm , that specific lyric made the song feel out of place . but Album has really good songs in them as well . Its quite different from Selena's previous albums but good.

    This is her 2nd album under Interscope records. This is her best album by far. Love the way she grew and the artistry of her has grown.

    After Revival and four years of random (but great) releases, we find in Rare that maybe that was it. It certainly gives you the feeling of going somewhere, but we never find out where. The album is just an amount of chill beats and cliché lyrics, not at all like the bangers we were receiving from Selena in Bad Liar, Fetish or Back at You. On the good side, shout out to the two collabs,After Revival and four years of random (but great) releases, we find in Rare that maybe that was it. It certainly gives you the feeling of going somewhere, but we never find out where. The album is just an amount of chill beats and cliché lyrics, not at all like the bangers we were receiving from Selena in Bad Liar, Fetish or Back at You. On the good side, shout out to the two collabs, Crowded Room and A Sweeter Place (featuring 6LACK and Kid Cudi respectively), also Kinda Crazy and Fun seems to sum up what she was trying to do here, but than lost track.     While none of these 13 songs attempt the subtle weirdness of “Bad Liar” and the emotional thesis—self-love!—can be a bit one-note, Rare is the 27-year-old’s most cohesive record to date. ... But it’s difficult to come away from Rare with any real perspective on who Gomez is other than that she doesn’t want to be the person she was, whoever that similarly mysterious shadow was.
