    Pop Perfection. Whose doing it like her? No one else can even compare. Her music is on another level. The evolution of music is this. Just like revival I expect people jumping on to try and do this. Congrats Selena you took your time and created something magical!

    Her best album to date. Each song sounds unique in its own way but, they manage to come together to form a cohesive album. This album gets better with each listen. It truly shows Selena growth as an artist and not a single song needs to be skipped.

    Se nota la madurez de Gomez en su máxima expresión. Desde el inicio hasta el final podemos notar un gran crecimiento en su lírica y producción y su voz haciendo complemento con melodías distintas. Perfecto para empezar una era nueva.

    She failed miserably to deliver the message of this album. For an album called "rare" the tracks doesn't correlate very much with the title. Definitely NOT Worth The listen.

    Hi. I'll probably get hate for this but here we go... "Rare" is a good pop album. It has its ups but it also has its downs. There are songs powerful with strong lyrics about Gomez's life (i know she had some troubles even though im not a big fan) while other songs are the most basic radio pop you'll ever hear. Some people might like that but i really dont. It's not bad but could have beenHi. I'll probably get hate for this but here we go... "Rare" is a good pop album. It has its ups but it also has its downs.     Até a sexta faixa do álbum tudo corria razoavelmente bem. Depois me senti cansado. Muito repetição, algumas letras fracas. Abusou dos hummm, ahhhh, ohhhh. Não é um grande álbum, mas tbm não é péssimo. Se fosse um EP com apenas as 6 primeiras faixas, seria melhor!

    This album just does not do it for me. After Revival, I had high expectations because that album was amazing but this was lower than subpar. Her voice in most songs sounded like she was struggling to breathe and control and it made it uneasy to listen to. There is also a difference between a cohesive album and an album that where every song sounds similar with the vocal range andThis album just does not do it for me.     This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. i waited a while to rate this album bc it wanted to give it some time to process with me. basically its a pathetic attempt at recreating her best work from 2017. it aged like milk and all the songs sound the same. but excluding the way it sounded, for her “most personal album yet” but fails to include any personal or in depth lyrics except for two songs that mention bieber. zero individuality in the album and sounds like it could of been made by anyone. that’s definitely one of selenas biggest flaws in her music, she never truly creates a song about her but that’s probably bc she doesnt write them… Expand

    All the lyrics are like a 13-years-old girl who think that what she's writing is poetry but then you have "toast in the toaster". "You'll never understand me cuz I'm so rare (so unique and different... wow)" and "I won't answer the call I'll let it ring".... I can say that lose you to love is is the only good one in this album... and in lytlm there so parts that don't even rhyme

    For a personal album, she talks a lot about Justin in this one specially the lead single. Selena can pretend to be unbothered, but she is bothered by the fact that Justin married, and she can’t use him anymore in the future for clout.

    Superficial e sem coerência. Um álbum sem nenhuma emoção, o que é comum na indústria mas, algo inesperado já que é taxado como o trabalho mais pessoal da carreira da Selena.

    This album is a pure dumpster fire. Boring, repetitive and bland tracks have been the norm from Selena and yet again we see this on RARE. She can't seem to evolve her music and move forward from her Disney era, in some cases it feels like a step back from her other albums and I cannot understand how it took just over 4 years to make this album.

    I'm sorry but all songs of this album sounds exactly the same and I feel like every one of them is a rejected work from another project. I saw some fans of miss Gomez that were so hyped up but... all that... for this. Doesn't feel right.

    While none of these 13 songs attempt the subtle weirdness of “Bad Liar” and the emotional thesis—self-love!—can be a bit one-note, Rare is the 27-year-old’s most cohesive record to date. ... But it’s difficult to come away from Rare with any real perspective on who Gomez is other than that she doesn’t want to be the person she was, whoever that similarly mysterious shadow was.
