    I waited almost 5 years for this album and what I can say is that every moment was worth it, Rare is perfect, since Revival came out in 2015 Selena grew musically in terms of her lyrics and her style and tells her story in these 13 songs.

    I'm really proud of the woman she's getting around, and brought an album certainly with her soul and all love. The sound is so hot to hear, and her totally pure vocals that tends to be the voice of an angel. The album is totally cohesive and the way it proposed all these years. To say that this is a generic, it's certainly lying to yourself.

    Selena Gomez has always had a special vulnerability and soothing vocals and this album has taken all of her strengths and played on them. she has tried new styles and managed to make the entire project work together from beginning to end. i love it!

    This album is Selenas best work. She sounds confident, strong and better than ever. Every song has a different feel and the album feels cohesive from start to finish. And the collaborations with 6lack and Kid Cudy are amazing. Its only 2020 but this is definitely going to be one of the top albums of the decade. I cannot recommend it enough

    Selena Gomez really took her time with her music and now you know why. There are so many different songs and they have all hidden meanings. The melodies are so good and versatile and then the lyrics hit you. You need to listen a few times to get it and every time you play you can feel what she has felt. It’s emotional, funny, sexy and it makes you want to dance.

    I’m not the biggest fan of pop music in general, but this album is gold! Almost every track on it is a banger, the production is just wow. Also Selena’s lyrical content has improved a lot since her last album Revival, and for me this album tops the last one to be honest.

    There is not a single bad song on this album. The title track and Dance Again are big stand outs and probably some of her career. It’d be foolish if she doesn’t release them as singles. Other notable stand outs are Vulnerable, which gives Taylor Swift Delicate vibes. The two features on the album, Crowded Room with 6lack and A Sweeter Place with Kid Cudi are also incredible songs. If Revival was a stepping stone then Rare is a body of work that stands as a witness to Selena Gomez's growth as an artist that has found her footing and is ready to embrace it.     i'm very impressed by selena's growth this time! wow! i've been discussing the album with my friends since it came out, and based on our personal favorites & rankings it's pretty clear that this album has a something for everyone. I haven't been keeping up with selena's life or know much about her experiences but i can feel how authentic & honest she is with this album. I'm in love! :)

    While none of these 13 songs attempt the subtle weirdness of “Bad Liar” and the emotional thesis—self-love!—can be a bit one-note, Rare is the 27-year-old’s most cohesive record to date. ... But it’s difficult to come away from Rare with any real perspective on who Gomez is other than that she doesn’t want to be the person she was, whoever that similarly mysterious shadow was.
