Two Point Hospital follows through on its lofty goals of bringing an old favorite into a new era, and in doing so, it has eclipsed many of its genre contemporaries and predecessors alike.
Two Point Hospital brings back the‘90s management games magic with much love and care. It's all you need and even more. Its only flaw is its interface, which isn’t really clear at times.
Really fun, casual hospital sim / management game! I definitely recommend the game and all of it's DLCs especially on sale.
I really can't think of any real negatives here for this game, it's just solid.
+ Love the visuals
+ Good amount of levels
+ Leaderboards with friends
+ Good customization on how you can build / make things look
+ A lot of things to do / manage but it never feels overwhelming
+ Does have a lot of DLC but I think it's good and worth the price
+ Good comedy
+ Good soundtrack and audio
+ Has a sandbox mode
+ Workshop support for posters, rugs, textures
- Some sections trying to level up your hospital can take a while
- Would love to be able to customize outside
Two Point Hospital is a delightful addition the to the simulation game genre, providing quirky humor and design, with polished gameplay and hours of fun.
Two Point Hospital is everything that Theme Hospital fans would have been hoping for from a successor, and then some. It may still have some finicky issues, which hopefully, can be addressed with a post-launch update, but all of its charm and witty humor make managing hospitals far more entertaining than it really should be.
Two Point Hospital doesn’t want and doesn’t know how to punish players for their mistakes. It only creates a feeling of hectic atmosphere and imitates problems to keep us from falling asleep while moving medicine cabinets for the umpteenth time.
It's a fine game.
Pros.:
- A very good remake.
- Neat.- Simple to handle.
- Humor.
Cons.:
- No break throws. I did not feel anything finishing this game. Not the same feeling when I played Theme Hospital ages ago. It doesn't mean the game is bad. Just the genre or issue of taste.
This game is pretty slick and easy to play but I really got bored of it quickly. The basic formula is find a new disease and build room to treat it plus hire more staff. Keep everyone happy. Rinse and Repeat. Everything in this game though is nice and polished and building your Hospital is easy and relaxing, but there just isn't much of a metagame going on unless you do the campaign mode. It's a good game to play for a bit and then come back to every now and again to relax. Solid.
most of the positive reviews in here are either PAID reviews or people seem to be easily amused...
theme hospital is back but it hasn't really changed that much...
for those who remember theme hospital (TH) you basically build rooms and put staff in them than get patients to go into these rooms to find out what is wrong with them than send them to cure rooms to get cured. eventually though you end up building the same rooms over and over with the exact same items over. and over...well i'm afraid it's exactly the same in this.
what would have been good was a copy room button where you can copy a rooms design and quickly build it again instead you have to build EACH room from scratch EACH time this gets tiresome and boring really quickly just like the original TH.
But the problems don't stop there later on your going to get hit with what i call near death patients if you leave these alone you get hit with DEATH waves patients will be dropping likes flies left and right you will have to micro manage these either by telling them to get cured or sending them to the front of the queue this is what you will be doing 90% of the time!
Oh no but there's more the way the game is supposed to work is a patient goes into the GP room, gets diagnosed and either sent to a cure room or sent to a diagnosis room. 50% of the time it doesn't work like that i have literally watched a patient go into the gp, into a diagnosis room, back to gp than to ANOTHER diag room and back to GP and sometimes to yet another diag room!
the game is utterally broken at the moment your better off just selecting patients and telling them to go straight to the cure room the gp system just doesn't work properly and you will find the queues sky rocketing to 20+ really fast too which means YES MORE micro managing!!
The graphics may have changed and there are different cure rooms but i'm afraid this still follows the flawed system of the original TH
if you want to play this I'd wait till it's on sale for $15 no way IMO is it worth $30!
