The team behind Castlevania Season 3 absolutely knocked it out of the park with this batch of episodes. They deliver the action, the intrigue, and the food for thought that elevates the source material into what’s easily one of the best video game adaptations ever made.
All of this heady material slows the pace down a bit, but the excellently animated action sequence (of which there are plenty to enjoy) give each episode a nice punch-up. All in all, these eight new episodes of Season 2 will give you everything you wanted from Castlevania and more.
Castlevania the animated series is fantastic Trevor can be like link and alucard can be like ganondorf and alucard is the rival of Trevor dracula can be a boss that keeps coming back or the last boss or it can be somebody trying to resurrect him okay dracula and leon is like sparda and mundus especially mundus for dracula and especially sparda for leon
This definitely isn’t kid friendly. And yet the violence and gore serves the story, one that’s not about a simple action-packed adventure of a trio of heroes wandering the Wallachian countryside, but the very real battle of complex heroes fighting for what’s right and protecting the innocent from darkness, death, and ignorance.
While the animation and writing in this first “season” occasionally stumble along the way, the series’ creators have gone above and beyond to wring a resonant story from a game that never really had or needed one. It’s a promising start, and while this isn’t saying much, that alone makes it one of the most successful video game adaptations to date.
Gruesome, bloody, and (for most of its runtime) mostly devoid of hope, Castlevania doesn’t skimp on darkness. It never quite reaches the demented highs of its pillar-of-hellfire pilot, but by season’s end, there’s a clear mission statement for arriving at a slightly more optimistic future.
Bleak, bold, blackhearted, brutal and very, very bloody, Netflix’s Castlevania is an uneven, weirdly paced but vividly realized and often captivating anime adaptation, one that propels the video game genre to newfound heights and a promising, if very short, glimpse at the show’s potential.
Castlevania has to be more like devil may cry bayonetta hellsing ultimate especially van helsing the Belmont have a bloodline the tepes should also have a bloodline each Belmont is a reincarnation of the previous one and tepes Morris and lecarde even if there is a spinoff you should still do a season 5 with curse of darkness make a season 5 on curse of darkness or put more curse of darkness and dracula curse
I grew up playing the games, this series has pretty much nothing for me. Transparent writing by an edgy 14 year old. Thebhumour isnt always bad, but it's one note. It's always the same kind of jokes. Alucard and Trevor are just the same character with slightly different mannerisms then they ask like they hate eachother so.
Pardon the spelling errors. F**king text box wont let me see. Have plenty more to say about this, but I'll sum up. Its a hijack of castlevania, made my edge lord. It's worth skipping.
Season 3 review
This season is bad, in the full sense of the word, and the writing is bad, as follows:
* Bad and stupid dialogues and their repetition at times.
* Stupid and bad construction of the main and secondary story characters.
* Slow and boring events significantly in the first half of the season and continue less frequently until the second half of the season.
* Thoughts of events in the first half of the season are repeated in other films or series.
- The fighting in this season is fairly good, but what makes it not interesting is the stupidity of enemies and monsters most of the time.
- The only good thing in this season is the drawing that has evolved from the previous seasons.
This season would have been better if it had been written well.
