If you have any love for Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Shredder’s Revenge, the Dimension Shellshock DLC should be considered essential. It’s as simple as that. Both characters included here are wonderful to take control of and bring yet more variety to the game, and Survival mode adds a fun and lasting challenge in which no two runs are ever exactly the same. Ultimately, it makes a brilliant game even better. What more could you ask for?
I love TMNT:SR & DLC more than Streets of Rage 4 because it is vibrantly alive! SOR4, like Fight n Rage, has set a good Final Fight, but modern, standard upon the Brawler convention; currently in renaissance. Now, TMNT:SR adds some flavors to the meal from Technos of old time, if not from Konami.
Online play, too.
Какая игра, такое и DLC. Куча положительных эмоций и десятки часов в режиме выживания. Кажется, что это не надоест никогда. Пожалуйста, разрабы, не останавливайтесь.
If you were looking for the perfect excuse to dive back into Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Shredder’s Revenge, look no further than Dimension Shellshock. With an addicting new game mode that will test your ninja skills, two new unique and exciting characters to master, and the chance to control the Lord of Kitchen Utensils himself, it’s a must-play update to an already stellar title.
Story Mode and Arcade Mode are fun enough, yes. It’s cool seeing the parade of classic stages and scenes, it’s cool fighting all the old enemies. And I love the music and visuals. It all comes together to make a delightful Turtles experience. But Survival Mode is the first time I’ve felt properly compelled to keep playing. It’s deeply frustrating at times, but not in a discouraging way. I want to get better! I want to improve my last run, I want to power up all the characters. If Shredder’s Revenge felt light, then Dimension Shellshock adds significant weight. I highly recommend picking up this DLC.
The Dimension Shellshock DLC for Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Shredder’s Revenge makes an already great beat-em-up even better, providing plenty of ways to flex one’s fighting chops – just be ready for a challenge.
Overall, this DLC is fantastic. At such a little cost, you get quite a bit. The new characters are worth the asking price alone. I’m not a huge fan of survival modes, but this one can get addicting with all the helpful power-ups. The boss characters are very fun to mess around with as well.
I can’t help but feel a little remorse that Dimension Shellshock‘s features weren’t included from day one. This was the sort of extracurricular content I felt was missing originally. If you haven’t given up on the turtles, or if you’re jonesing for more after Mutant Mayhem, it’s worth dusting Shredder’s Revenge off for another spin.
Great cheerful game with the old pixel style, a large selection of characters you can play as, the difficulty would be better, too easy to pass, even on the hardest difficulty, not bad bosses, a large variation of enemies, if you like the old Beat 'em up games, you will like this game, especially for fans of the turtles.

This is exactly what the base game was missing. I absolutely loved the base game, I played through it multiple times, but the issue that I had was that there was very little left to do by that point. This doesn't reinvent the game, but it adds the fresh coat of paint that I wanted. It gives you enough reason to return to the game and keep playing. The two new characters are actually very fun to use, and while the color swaps aren't huge, they're a fun little bonus to those coming back and for long-time fans of the series. The survival mode is the core appeal of the DLC. Its exactly what you would expect of it, but it adds a few fun features, such as being able to play as some of the bosses. Again, nothing game changing, but they tapped into exactly what fans wanted and needed to get back into the game. New game mode, new playable characters, new stages, new enemies, new color palettes, new features - its excellent.
