    Favorite album by her, "better off" "God is a woman" "get well soon" are my favorites! She took an experimental risk and it payed off

    This album is so relaxing and smooth. If we take a look at Ariana's 3 album before sweetener, I think sweetener is really different from them. Ariana seems to trying new things in this album. She succeeded this maybe. My all-time favorite songs from her is in this album but there are a few songs also I don't like at all. But generally it's worth to listen.

    I purely adore the juxtaposition of two entirely different sounds placed on one album but made to flow together creating an abstract piece of art: the playful r&b tracks produced by Pharrell and the modern emotional synth smashes by Max Martin, Savan and Ilya. Topped off with a stunning visual design and the singles accompanied by music videos directed by the legend himself, Dave Meyers,I purely adore the juxtaposition of two entirely different sounds placed on one album but made to flow together creating an abstract piece of art: the playful r&b tracks produced by Pharrell and the modern emotional synth smashes by Max Martin, Savan and Ilya. There are tracks that aren't that good, I would take them off if I were Ariana. The compositions are strong and very reflective.     Such a good comeback album and perfect singles, best tracks : God Is A Woman, Everytime, Goodnight n go, Get Well Soon...and all the other tracks tbh.

    When this album first came out, I hated it. I found it mediocre and full of fillers, but, my gosh, it aged like the finest of wine. I love how simple yet funny and catchy the production is, and Ariana's voice just adds the perfect touch. I don't know if it already is, but this album is gonna be timeless. Ariana was ahead of her time when she made it and she put her entire grandussy intoWhen this album first came out, I hated it.     This album is her most creative with an incredible concept she has ever done. 'Sweetener' is sometimes clumsy : sweetener is a song 'all in one', some songs are really different than the concept of the album like 'breathin' and 'God is a woman', so much love these songs, but Ariana should have been like 'don't care about commercial'. This album is still a very good project !

    The lyrics, the feeling that Sweetener has is really excellent, those notes, God, are you an angel fallen from heaven? but No tears left to cry is my favorite song, I love this

    Sweetener is Ariana Grande's best album! Most of the songs are amazing, with some slight duds in between the best songs, but the cover is cool and the singles choices were top notch. I live for the production that unveils the masterpieces of this record, and we can think Pharell for that.

    7/10 - Sweetener is a funky stepping stone to Ariana’s career, marking a journey to healing. The album is therapeutic to listen to, but everything that Sweetener failed to do was picked up and improved by her following album, “thank u, next.” The album itself was very messy formatting-wise. I believe certain songs should have been rearranged in placement when considering the impact that an7/10 - Sweetener is a funky stepping stone to Ariana’s career, marking a journey to healing. The album is therapeutic to listen to, but everything that Sweetener failed to do was picked up and improved by her following album, “thank u, next.” The album itself was very messy formatting-wise. I believe certain songs should have been rearranged in placement when considering the impact that an album’s structure significantly impacts its impact and artistry. There are plenty of pop-bops (breathin, god is a woman, and goodnight n go. the latter is a “sweetened” ode to the ever-impactful Imogen Heap) but a lot of abstract, weirder songs that honestly take the cake for me. I think my ability to appreciate the more abstract, funky pop tracks such as sweetener, successful, and get well soon really raised the album’s rating. Sweetener’s biggest loss is its lyrics, which are plain and shallow. Additionally, the album was very positive and held an optimistic outlook; while this is likely intentional (hence the album title), I would have also seen Sweetener’s sour side.… Expand

    Probably one of the best experimental albums I have ever heard. Ariana's voice is beautiful and addictive and blends perfectly with the extraordinary production. No other popstar has created such an amazing album. Give her 10s where the 10s are due!

    Grande’s new sound, the Williams-produced Not-Bangers, only make up half of the album. These standout tracks are interspersed between standard pop tracks. ... That’s not to say that the Bangers on Sweetener are bad--it’s more that they belong in previous era of Grande and they spoil the flow between songs. Sweetener may not be the dawning of a new age for Ariana but it could be a step towards somewhere weird and wonderful.

    Ms. Grande backs up her statements with song-and-dance mastery. ... She’s her own choir, support group and posse. While a few guest vocalists (Mr. Williams, Nicki Minaj, Missy Elliott) provide a little grit for contrast, Ms. Grande sails above any fray, past or present. Her aplomb is her triumph.
