Another wonderful album by Bastille, with its touching songs, broken hearted but that make us vibrate with joy and makes us dance with our friends and our love in the post apocalyptic world

    A wonderful concept
    A wonderful management of
Freshy and nostalgic sounds, with the perfect representation of their hours.

One of the best albums of all the decade.

Doom days may be one of Bastille less in the face projects, but it still packs up a punch the more you listen to it.going from chaotic party anthems to melancholic themes and ending with joy (literally), Doom Days is a true hit for the British band.

Simply pretty different from what they have done previously, specially songs like the tittle track Doom Days, and a select other. The vocals were good, and the production was on par.

This is Bastille's best work to date. The themes of escapism from internal and external chaos shine brightly as does the transition from just wanting to do something with someone, anyone to finding out how important a specific person can be and how much having a certain someone can help you in so many ways.

Recommended tracks: Quarter Past Midnight, Bad Decisions, Divide, Those Nights,

Great album. Although lyrics point to sadness they offer hope in the end. Phenomenal music consistent with classic Bastille sound. Definite winner. Can’t wait to see them on tour in September at Hulu Center At MSG

Awesome, maybe we dont be more familiarly whit that type of sound, but really the album always is transmiting the felling all the time, bad or good fellings, like a party when we remember things happie, or maybe the broke up with the last girlfriend

Bastille's third record is as perfect as their other work, Daniel Smith's vocals are one of my favorites in the whole music industry, and their lyrics are sharp

Mostly this is just a bit Bastille by numbers. If you’re looking for a photocopy of their previous albums, faded and off-colour, Doom Days will satisfy.

A record which thrives on evoking feeling and catharsis, while remaining committed to their personal influences, on Doom Days they’ve managed to deftly build a conceptual world not all too different to the one we’re facing right now, and that feels like a triumph in itself.
