    It's not a giant step forward, but it's still got all the upbeat energy, and the nostalgic touch that was in "The Finer Things". A little bit too mainstream at times, "Perfect Score" in particular, but overall this is a great album. State Champs mix the old with the new, pulling from 00s pop punk, and then from more recent iterations of the genre (i.e. A Day to Remember and All Time Low),It's not a giant step forward, but it's still got all the upbeat energy, and the nostalgic touch that was in "The Finer Things". State Champs mix the old with the new, pulling from 00s pop punk, and then from more recent iterations of the genre (i.e. A Day to Remember and All Time Low), to find some middle ground between the two styles.

    banger. every song slaps live. champs are one of the best pop punk bands of the 2010s and will continue to release exclusively bangers
