Precisely because of how ravishingly constructed some of the set pieces turned out, it’s more of shame to see the storytelling’s structural lack of cohesiveness and subplot saturation clutter the view.
The pile-on of frenetic action sequences, especially toward the end, eventually becomes more wearisome than thrilling. Nonetheless, White Snake, a Warner Bros. co-production and box office hit in its native country, proves a superior effort that should find enthusiastic audiences on our shores.

This animation is really good, hype for light chaser animation studio cause i find all their work really touching. The creative story differentiate it from tradition story making who has already knew the story still enjoying it however for who first watch the legend white snake might hard to catch. So it really good on my perspective. Looking foward to new work from this studio

Even if you’re not familiar with the source material, this Chinese production provides plenty of supernatural thrills for the modern young adult.
Some of the special effects are genuinely spectacular, but the narrative is often difficult to follow.
The forbidden romance has its will-they-or-won’t-they thrills, but this first feature by the directors Amp Wong and Ji Zhao, becomes a basket of tangled snakes when Blanca faces far too many obstacles.
There’s a significant difference in quality between the mediocre scenario (and dialogue) and thrilling production design (and direction) in White Snake.
