The show is going to have to move at a swift clip to answer for everything but it’s already gotten the ball rolling just one episode in.

Despite a more complex mystery for the final outing, the moments that truly shine are the scenes with the charming ensemble cast. As far as finales go, The Hardy Boys Season 3 delivers a conclusive, satisfying ending for the Bridgeport crew sure to please the fans of the series, with some surprisingly relevant commentary about the state of the modern world.

It could use some more twists and turns, and maybe a few additional wisecracks; nevertheless, in this new series, The Hardy Boys’ magnetic appeal is intact.

We think that the chemistry between Campbell and Elliot will be enough to keep people tuning into this version of The Hardy Boys. But we’re also wondering when gritty reboots of beloved kids’ literary characters is going to stop.

While thankfully more innocent than say the CW’s sexed-up Nancy Drew and Riverdale adaptations, the show still wildly shifts in tone, seemingly caught in between a kids’ detective show and something much darker.
