  • Summary: Miguel Trost Depedro's latest electronica release is a departure for him, as each track is more focused than on previous releases.
Score distribution:
  1. Positive: 7 out of 10
  2. Negative: 0 out of 10
  1. It's a collection of simple but warped electronic pop music, where Kid606 spins a tight hook into five or six minutes of chugging or swinging bliss. No more, no less.
  2. Regardless of what you think of his previous and complicated output, he's proven here that he can just as easily make sick chill as maniacal IDM or ambient glitch; and he's just as strong as anyone else going.

    A great summer album. [Oct 2005, p.170]

This unassuming record certainly deserves as much attention as [his] former big noise. [Sep 2005, p.116]
  5. It doesn't have the edginess of the Kid's previous recordings, and cloaks its eclectic sense of play in tasteful, textured layers, but in so doing achieves a consistency that has previously been lacking.
  6. Resilience is laid-back Kid 606.
  7. Resilience is the most mom-friendly album that's ever been released under the Kid 606 moniker.
