    This album is the best album of 2016, and one of the best of the decade. Beyoncé put out her best body of work in terms of sound and cohesiveness. I can't get tired of listening to it. The songs have such an amazing production and the album is full of details. Couldn't ask for more with this one.

    Beyoncé shakes the world with the release of her sixth solo album 'Lemonade'. The album surely perfects the sound that she introduces on her fifth studio album. I actually have the opposite issue on this album from her previous in that I wish the songs were a bit longer because I finished the album just wanting more of what she gave us.     This is one of Beyoncé's greatest peaces of work, because it expresses beyoncé's pain and how she coped with it and how to find redemption when there seems to be no hope. she also talked about feminism and further emphasized issues in the black communities, thus it is a timeless masterpiece that deserves all the attention and acclaim it gets.

    It's quite good. Freedom, Don't Hurt Yourself and 6 Inch are top songs in my opinion. I really liked this album but none of these songs are as good as Beyonce's best songs like 7/11 and Halo, but that doesn't mean the album is bad, it's just not the best work of Beyonce.

    This was a WORK OF ART. and still is. one of the best albums of ALL time. she's truly an artist. thank you queen B for being so inspiring. this album especially, compared to her other albums, was filled with personal experience. you can tell she worked hard on her vision, and the ways she shared her life experiences. especially with sandcastles & all night. again thank you to the queen!

    To me this album showed the relatable activist. Of course you got the monumental song of the decade in "Formation", then you bring on "Sorry" where she relates to women about the struggles of men who men who cheat and their emotions towards it. But then she brings tracks like "Sandcastles and "All Night" where she shows the communication and healing process of it all. But she then givesTo me this album showed the relatable activist.     The Album naturally transitions within the emotions felt by the suspecting wife of a unfaithful husband, and therefore the true value of the album could only be interpreted through listening to the song in the order Beyoncé intended.

    ‘Pray You Catch Me’, the first single of the album is a slow, vocally driven R&B track which begins with the disinterested and unbothered toned “ohs”, as we are aware that Beyoncé is not certain her husband is cheating, the monotony of the introduction of her first song could metaphorically represent the calm before the storm, the calm being her ignorance and the storm being the rage, hatred and disappointment she feels (which is expressed through the other tracks).

    ‘Hold up’ which is the second song of ‘Lemonade’ starts off as more upbeat, fast and pop-infused than its predecessor ‘Pray You Catch Me’. The album transitions from feelings of uncertainty and ignorance towards self-reflection and disappointing. She sings the disappointing and heart wrenching line “hold up, they don’t love you like I love you”, and hip hop “had the baddest woman in the game all in your shee-ee-eets”. The track is conveyed as an introduction to the passionately negative emotions the wife feels towards her unfaithful husband.    … Expand

    I have to say I was surprised to hear an album this good from a mainstream artist, a pop icon and, yes, a legend. Lemonade is an excruciatingly raw album and thanks to its number of tracks, it has no fillers, a smart move on her part. I don't think she'll ever be topping the polished masterpiece that this record represents but let's hope she comes close.

    A palavra "obra de arte" nunca fez tanto sentido como agora. Um álbum maravilhoso e incrível em todos os aspectos. Beyoncé conseguiu superar seu álbum auto intitulado (BEYONCÉ) que também é incrível e conseguiu mostrar seu lado pessoal sem deixar de ser ativista e o mais surpreendente são os vários gêneros musicais no álbum, indo do R&B ao Country sem se perder.

    I mean, c'mon, how many ghost writters does this woman needs just to tell the world that her husband gave her brand new corna horns??? The entire world couldn't care less who Jayz is sleeping with or if this woman is sexing him good or bad. 70 writers and producers for this telenovela story gone bad? I can't! It sounds good on some moments but lacks interesting topics.     It’s Beyoncé’s best album. Overall a solid album but don’t read too much into it. This isn’t a classic album that’s going to be remembered for years to come in all honesty. A decent 7. Nothing more nothing less.

    A surprisingly varied album, "Lemonade" offers a wide number of sounds and styles, that somehow manages to get along with each other. The album is powerful and has a controversial back story in it that Beyoncé herself took the time to tell and explore among the listeners. Standout tracks include "Pray You Catch Me", "Don’t Hurt Yourself", "6 Inch", "Daddy Lessons", "Freedom" and "All Night".

    I've waited a long time to listen to this and i finally did. The album is honestly better than what i expected it to be. I found 9 out of the 13 listenable and amusing, found some beautiful gems along the way.

    She paves a path of surface-level-enjoyable music of all influences, effortlessly lines it with weight of message and cultural depth, stands on it and is proud to say "This is me, these are my experiences and the experiences of many others, and this is how we can best inform and uplift others", never seeming conceited or overdone. The balancing act is perfect, everything is in its right place. As a package drenched in symbolism and cultural references, it's consumable and humble. She effortlessly toys with the personal and shines a light on the political, plays on scopes micro and macro and rounds it up so flawlessly that they become one unified body.

    As a film, Lemonade artfully, linearly documents one woman's healing process, and the healing process of all women, all a collective people. It deconstructs emotions that don't conform to linearity and plays with connection, always highlighting the past in reference to how it impacts the future. This is heard in songs also, such as in Daddy Lessons where Beyoncé connects her father's infidelity to her husband's by detailing how it impacted her and what she learned. By the end, there's a tangible sense of catharsis and understanding of Beyoncé as a human being, while also illuminating the struggles of black women in particular detail. It's flawless in it's cathartic conjuring of raw feeling without sacrificing nuance, never overstays it's welcome or oversteps. It truly is a perfect album.    … Expand
