Ultimately, Super Street Fighter IV Arcade Edition is a super-sized character expansion pack to an already impressive game. For 1,200 MSP ($15 USD), you're getting four new characters, a slew of balance changes and some tweaks to the online experience. It's not a revolution in play, but if you've already mastered Super Street Fighter IV, it does make the experience fresh again.
Super Street Fighter IV Arcade Edition is a great DLC for every professionist of this fighting game, but the lack of some important elements is a shame. Capcom has done a good job, but Ark System Works was way more honest with the BlazBlue: Continuum Shift DLC.
The game expands one of the best fighting games ever, with a new balance and four new characters. That said, it remains a DLV dedicated to the biggest fans of the series.
It's a small update that you could live without despite its $15 digital price tag. As a value proposition at $40, it's a laugh unless you missed out SSF4, which is easily one of the brightest and sharpest fighting games in the recent past.
