I love this game! This is a childhood game that taught me a lot, in which I spent many happy hours. Arcomage is a super game! I would generally make it separately on PCs and smartphones! Masterpiece game! Bravo!
MIGHT AND MAGIC VII was the first RPG game for me. I was young and wasn't able to get how to play in MM VI :) I never forget those emotions the game gave me. Unfortunately, today no one creates games like this.
Masterpiece! Some say this is the best part of 6-7-8 trilogy. I prefer 6 more, but it's still one of the best RPG's ever!
ps: If you want to try- google GreyFace patch, it's a fresh patch with quality of life updates.
Follow up to probably my favourite first person view RPG of all time Might & Magic VI, I still enjoyed this the same way. The experience wasn't as strong, as it was basically the same thing all over again, but it had all those qualities back and many improvements on top of that, such as choosing the sides, heaven or hell, will you fight the devils or angels, what will your characters become? Will you turn your mage into an undead lich? Hell yes, I did and I enjoyed it thoroughly. 9/10
Very good game. It never reaches the epic heights of Might and Magic VI, but its well worth playing.
As always with this type of game, I cannot recommend it to anyone that requires good graphics, or anyone that thinks that using your brain is unhealthy.
Also, if you DO enjoy this, immediately get hold of a copy of Might and Magic VI. In fact, I would highly recommend you start with Might and Magic VI and then play this after.
The tedium of constantly having to travel from map to map in search of trainers to advance your skills for each character really detracted from the game play. I wish there was an option to skip the (what I felt) simple, mindless side quests, which are required to level your party high enough to survive the main storyline's dungeons. The story itself near the end game was actually pretty good (the few lines of story dialog that you get); however, given how much energy you have to put in just to get there, I felt a lot of the game was filler material. There's so much needless running around just to make the player spend more time playing the game. I remember the days of Might & Magic II, where I felt the actual gameplay was fun and streamlined, none of the "oh no, this entire game only gives players 3 hours of solid gameplay, let's add more gameplay hours by making simple things (like leveling up) way more complicated in a tedious way, since we're too tired to think of a fun way to do it!"
