Another Crab’s Treasure is a Soulslike but for fans and newcomers to the series alike, creating a hilarious, exciting nautical knightly adventure for audiences of all ages.

So good! I'm genuinely shocked by how nuanced the combat is. I expected the game to be far more simple, but you'll eventually be bouncing around multiple mechanics and crafting really clever builds. Boss fights are awesome, platforming sections are awesome, super super pleased with this, way more than I thought I'd be!

While the Soulslike genre is no stranger to cute indie entries or a sense of humor, there's nothing quite like Another Crab's Treasure on the market. It affectionately parodies many Souls games in its Sands Between, while executing their tropes with all the passion of a hardcore fan. Another Crab’s Treasure's family-friendly face hides surprising savagery, but doesn't neglect anyone who wants the relaxed experience it teases. Even its mechanics are often recycled from other Soulsbornes, but used in novel ways, even if there's some polish missing here and there. Delving into Another Crab's Treasure will unearth a mixture of the familiar and the unknown, the perfect accomplice to its quirky journey through the deep, blue sea.
Although far from the highest quality Soulslike, Another Crab’s Treasure is an original, intensely likable one. Its sharp script is backed up with a fun gameplay conceit, wrapped up in a package with a whole lot of character.
Encouraged by Aggro Crab to try the game out on Steam Deck, I was impressed with how well Another Crab’s Treasure performs on the handheld PC device. Its visuals popped on the smaller screen, and the performance rarely dipped below 30 FPS, often climbing higher, even to 60 FPS at some points. Locking the Steam Deck’s FPS to 40 ultimately made for the smoothest experience, and Steam’s cloud saving worked flawlessly, making Another Crab’s Treasure an easy game to play at a desktop or on the couch, Steam Deck in hand.
Another Crab’s Treasure may not convince soulslike skeptics, but it's a lovingly executed underwater take on the challenging genre.
It's cute and light-hearted at the beginning. It gets boring, like most Souls-likes within the first couple hours. I refunded due to boredom and camera problems. The cute charm wasn't enough to convince me to hold the purchase.

Another overrated product. Janky and packedto the brim with cheap deaths. Certainly not the worst game of the year, but a regrettable purchase for me. This is game development moving backwards.

A beautiful game with some of the most glitchy half baked mechanics I have played in a long time. The camera routinely gets stuck in the environment especially in platforming sequences of which there are many but also in boss fight and general exploring as well which almost always results in a cheap and completely avoidable death. I have had more game breaking bugs in another crabs treasure then I have in literally any other game since the gta remastered games. I have been physically attached to bosses for literal minutes because the character models got stuck together which required a restart which then completely erases any and all progress including souls (micro plastics) short cuts and any and all items collected which is frankly just a poor design choice.
Stuck on an object, restart, stuck in mid air, restart, stuck on an enemy, restart. I could go on and the worst part about all of this which perfectly shows the outright incompetence of the developer is that this game features a unstuck button in the form of (die instantly) on the menu screen but if you are unfortunate enough to play this beautiful unfinished mess when you actually get stuck, it literally removes the option to press pause completely negating the entire purpose of programing in the unstuck (die instantly) feature.
I wanted to love this game but ultimately the only humane thing to do is to (Give Krill a gun) and put this game and me out of its misery, immense potetional completely squandered.
