With the breezy action comes some valuable knowledge about magnets and ammonias. Who knew TV could be educational? ... This reboot looks to be a pleasant way to start the [CBS Friday] lineup and the weekend.
The new MacGyver lacks [USA's "Burn Notice's"] creativity and wit. It’s clumsy and forgettable, and it’ll probably end up lasting seven seasons without anybody really noticing.
My absolute favorite show. I have no clue why so many are disliking it maybe because they compare it to the original one. But seen as a standalone without knowing the original its amazing and im sad it wasn`t continued
I absolutely LOVE this show!!! I am SO glad they renewed it for season 4! This series is just as nice and exciting as the original series. I like this show because it does not have tons of killing and bloody knives in it. I wish everyone would quit complaining that Jack left. Yes.. I do agree it was really nice having Jack on the show, but would you just give Desi a chance!!! If they keep filming this movie series, Jack might come back... But everyone keeps complaining they will end it and we will never see Jack again! I hope this show NEVER ends!
The cues are clunky and don’t add much insight into the mind of our hero, and the sense of suspense the original was known for (typically involving an explosive of some sort) is all but missing here, mostly due to the fact that the show insists on maintaining a zippy pace at all times. This is a major issue, but the show’s woes don’t end there. The more critical question of cast chemistry is ultimately what sinks the ill-conceived reboot, with Till struggling to find an easy rapport with his onscreen partners.
It looks cheap (even though CBS decided to scrap the entire original pilot and make a new one), the action sequences are rote, the dialogue is mostly generic, and the characters are all one-dimensional.
It is not the old Macgyver you **** yeah that is sad BUT it is not as bad as people make it to be relly you can still have some fun with **** is worth a watch kinda remindes me of the old spy tv shows
It was a cute concept at first, the surrealism of it all grew tired through the seasons. **** might create time machine with clips, but he wont be able to make me watch the rest of this show.
