    The London producer emphasizes structural variety over substance, and relies on former sonic signatures to push a release that remains distinguished within the electronic landscape. However, in the context of his oeuvre, Young Death / Nightmarket listens like just another cut of the same.

    Despite being a huge Burial fan, I found this EP to be a little disappointing. Short length aside, neither one of these tracks seem to goDespite being a huge Burial fan, I found this EP to be a little disappointing. Short length aside, neither one of these tracks seem to go anywhere; instead, they drift around in the same sonic space with only subtle variations, and don't stick around long enough to warrant their ambient nature.

    Even so, the sounds and melodies used here are gorgeous (as expected). It's absolutely worth listening to, but unfortunately fails to reach the epic standards set by Burial's previous work.
