  • Summary: This is the first album for the West Coast production team / hip-hop outfit formerly known as Tha Alkaholiks (and their fourth album to date, including that previous incarnation). Xzibit, Rockwilder, Kurupt and Busta Rhymes are among the guest contributors.

Vocalists Tash and J-Ro are so compelling, you wonder why ex-Lik Xzibit gets all the attention. [27 Jul 2001, p.72]
  2. Blender

    The weirdest hip-hop album since OutKast's Stankonia. [Jun/Jul 2001, p.112]
  3. Their fourth album rarely disappoints...
  4. Uncut

Sonically exhilarating, yet the lyrical content remains as alluring as vomit on a Sunday morning pavement. [Sep 2001, p.104]

Occasional missteps keep X.O. Experience from being a bottle of the top-drawer stuff, though it'll still leave you with a good buzz. [Aug 2001, p.91]
  6. Yet while the familiar spirits-soaked verses of J-Ro and Tash will reassure old fans, it's the music here that should encourage them to set down their cans and bottles and listen.
  7. While the album stays true to the group's legacy of alcohol-themed, head-nodding party anthems, it falls short by schematically aping other artists' music.

Best album of the year, from the song played on the 40's to "We promot Violins" this cd is fakkin tight!
