    A powerful album, if not a masterpiece. The kind of album you listen from START to FINISH. Its filled with emotions trust me you're in for quite of a ride.
    Apart from the singles my faves are : Witness, Miss you more, Roulette and Bigger than Me.

    This album marks the best of songwriting with clever lines, even if lacks of clever rhymes. Great songs and great production. This is another step on a career that shall long and last.

    A mixture of dance bops and vulnerable ballads. Best tracks are Witness, Roulette, Power and Pendulum with best ballad being Miss You More. Production is amazing. Vocals are also so much better than any other album before. Love the new electropop and dancepop vibes.

    I just love this album, it feels like a real body of work, it flows really well, i love the atmosphere, all songs have this dark synth sound, her voice is also sad/dark, it sounds retro yet futuristic, great work katy

    It's probably one of the best albums of 2017. Every song has a new sound (very nice) and an electric Rhythm, one of the best songs of the album is 'Power', It's so nice to the ears and It's very good how Katy search the way ti express what she feel. Buy this album, don't think just do it

    Her best album EVER! Witness is full of powerful, great anthems and Katy is more confident than ever. Production is amazing and her vocals are SICK! Highlights: Roulette, Power, Tsunami, Hey Hey Hey and Into Me You See. Also, Dance With The Devil is a GREAT song which is only available on the Target exclusive edition. I definitely recommend you to buy it.

    In my opinion this is Katy's most personal and powerful album. All songs are so strong and beautiful in their own way. There isn't any song I didn't like after the first listen. And this whole concept behind Witness is awesome. This album is truly a masterpiece and you will miss something if you don't listen to it.

    Katy Perry Witness is a risky proffer. Probably it´s not a memorable album, but it certainly has good rythms and (despite there are not very deep lyrics) Katherine offers purposeful lyrics about feminism, and political topics.

    O álbum tem base em seus anteriores porém com uma sonoridade totalmente diferente de tudo que a Katy já tem feito, ela deixa isso claro e explicito. De 'Witness' à suas faixas bônus, ela possui letras, ritmos e tons dançantes de despertar qualquer um. Palavras emocionantes, mensagens e textos que mostram quem ela é, quem ela se tornou e o que a fez chegar onde ela está.

    Witness is definitely the best pop album in 2017 ! Purposeful pop in it's finest. The album contains songs which lyrics is actually more inspiring than her previous albums. All of them has deep meaning so I would recommend you buying this album and listen to every songs in it.

However, soon after we are bombarded with songs totally poor in lyricism and production. "Hey hey hey" is a tragic tune that most resembles something that a new singer would release. "Power" and "mind maze" are possibly the worst songs in Perry's career. The already released "chained to the rhythm", "bon appetit" and "swish swish" stand out among so many messy songs. But ballads like "miss you more" and "save the draft" show a leaner Katy Perry. Already the funeral into me you see can make us more understood than a crowded bus ride. Note that the beautiful "pedulum" is an invitation to a Katy perry who tried to reinvent herself and the dancing "roulette" shows Katy with clear inspirations in the 80's and is very similar to the song "I like it rough", ex Pop singer Lady Gaga. It can be concluded that witness is not an appetizer, nor a main dish, it is a silly record and can not add to the unstable career of Perry. Sorry Katy, but it was not a hit in the basket.… Expand

    With dark beats, "Witness" is a meaningful confection. Amazing lyrically, it makes you open your mind about being yourself, connect with others, really see people, understand them. "I mean, you can see me... But can you really see me?". Katy has matured a lot since her first album. This album is a masterpiece.

    For sure the best album, the lyrics are with an excellent quality, without taking away her voice that is getting better. My highlights are with Roulette, Déjà vu, Swish Swish and my favorite Dance With The Devil that is only available in the deluxe version.

    Lazy lyrics, questionable themes, can't even compare to her other albums. In this album Katy try to be serious and mature, but ended up with lyrics like 'i'm my mothers daughter' and 'Marylin Monroe in a monster truck', this lyrics could only be compared with J.Lo's 'i feel good cause i don't feel bad'. Katy should put this in a box and go looking for her next record.

    4 anos depois do auge do seu último álbum, Katy Perry nos entrega o que talvez seja o álbum mais mediano de sua carreira. Com uma sequencia de singles nada favorecida, o álbum parece ser feito em cima da hora. Mas não se engane, o álbum tem sim momentos de ouro: Save As Draft comprova isso.

    Also despite having good songs none really stand out.

    The album is truly ahead of it's time. It deserves more recognition. Many locals have slept on this album because of the haircut so this album underperformed.

    This Album was really terrible and disappointing. Compared to her previous work it really was a downgrade, The only songs I did enjoy were the singles that were already out the rest of the album feels unfinished. I don't recommend this album to anyone hopefully Ms Perry's next album gives us something more and doesn't keep us waiting 4 years again for unsatisfactory & substandard music.

    This album is nothing but a bad thing, Katy Perry has always been differentiated by making songs without sense, and with this album was no exception.

    This is the album of the year. I personally think this album deserves a Grammy and I hope she wins this year, she deserves it. I also think this is her best album. Well done Katy!

    To be frank there are only 8 songs out of 15 that are worth to listen to , but those 8 are more than worth a score of 10. This is the most heartfelt album Katy Perry have ever created.

I mean, I've been really looking forward to it's release and Chained to the Rhythm gave me hope that that this album would be the best yet, but then her songs Bon Appétit and Swish Swish were made public and my worst fears we're coming true.     Her best album by far, both lyrically and in terms of production. Every song a hit and nothing is filler. Contains both bops and heart wrenching ballads, couldn't recommend enough.

    It is truly one of the best albums of the year! Just don't give up on it after the first listen. The album is such a grower! My favorites are Roulette and Power. What is great, that she is being very personal in most of the songs and it gets me every time.

    I can see why iTunes music is recommending it to me because I do enjoy the occasional pop album (although I am not generally a fan of these big superstar pop albums because they all sound the same).     I read somewhere that she had coined this phase of her career as "Purposeful Pop". Well if this is what "Purposeful Pop" sounds like then please pass me the club while I bash its head in.

    Unfortunately, I do have to admit that of all Katy Perry albums, this is definitely the worst. Making experimental albums are always the riskiest and it’s literally make or break, as we all know with the ‘ARTPOP’ era with Lady Gaga but even then, Gaga managed to get a couple of hits off the album and the album itself debuting at #1, and Katy hasn’t really managed to get a mainstream hit.Unfortunately, I do have to admit that of all Katy Perry albums, this is definitely the worst. It screams desperate if I’m honest, and the truth is, is that everyone loves Katy just the way she is so I’m not entirely sure why the big change. There’s no real creative process with this album whatsoever. The lyrics are average, the production as a whole seems cheap and rushed, and I can’t see any future releases of this album becoming a hit either.

    I hope that Katy realises by the albums reaction that maybe taking the risk wasn’t such a smart move, even though she had the balls to do so, it didn’t work, and that by the next album she just goes back to being the Katy that we all know and love and releases hit after hit and an album that we can all enjoy together, because this one has fallen relatively flat unfortunately.    … Expand

    While it's certainly missing any form of coherency, Witness does feel like you're growing with Perry - going on this journey that's helped her find new ground and a reinvigorated appreciation for all walks of the pop music spectrum.

    It’s a real shame Witness has come out as a bit of a disjointed mess, as there’s a decent record somewhere in there, but it gets lost in the fog of endless guest productions and co-writes that miss the point entirely.
