  • Summary: The English singer returns from a stinct of writing novels under the name Wesley Stace to record his latest album.
Score distribution:
  1. Positive: 3 out of 5
  2. Negative: 0 out of 5
  1. It's a rich, engaging set that reveals something new with each listen.
  2. Who Was Changed and Who Was Dead reveals a greater maturity and lyrical polish than much of his previous work.
  3. Who Was Changed and Who Was Dead is hyper-aware, expertly tweaking the lyricist's game at every turn, but it occasionally sacrifices authentic exploration.
  4. Mojo

Plenty of good listening here. [Jun 2009, p.105]
  5. The musical accompaniment, courtesy of his more-famous friends in The Minus 5, is solid, workmanlike. Unfortunately, the vocals are placed front and center, and Harding’s inflection puts added emphasis on embarrassing lyrics.
