The constant malaise keeps these songs from generating the ridiculous, heart-swelling feeling of transcendence that the best big-room dance music can achieve, while the duo’s relentless approach keeps the music from feeling particularly intimate.

It didn't feel like it had that Odesza touch that I really loved in A Moment Apart, and even in albums before that. It feels like Odesza listened to the criticism they received from music critics on their last album, which they should never have done. I recently listened to their song "Hopeful," which they said never made the final album. It sounded like the classic Odesza I loved, and I honestly hope that the revert back to the sounds on A Moment Apart. Full Review »

Light of day is amazing and more their style but the rest of the album I'm not sure what they were doing. I've never had to skip or got bored with an Odesza album but it's pretty bad and uncreative. Almost like they went for pop radio or something. Light of day is insanely good though, made me cry. Full Review »

Solid album that goes back to ODESZA's roots whilst incorporating new additions to their signature sound.
