The first two songs are so good you'll expect a masterpiece. Then, alas, there is a solid letdown. The middle of the album is mainly tired beats and not too interesting topics. But man, the first two songs almost make it worthwhile. Takes you back to the old west coast gangsta rap days.

this album was a disapointment, due to production and snoop dogg. Its been a long wait for good westcoast cd to come out...im still waiting. maybe dre and game will have to do it. kanye west prvided a good summertime track. and "twist your body" by hi-tek was good. "keep it gangsta" was good too.

This album was only a let down because of poor production, the only song that really stands out is Appreciation, which really has that G-Funk feel to it. Its undeniable the talent in this group, although this trio was hyped to be the Westcoast supergroup, after listening to this album, its true that people say this label still belongs to Westside Connection.

They sound like they can't be bothered. [Oct 2004, p.120]
  2. Sadly this isn’t the same 213 who dropped the legendary demo and this isn’t the 213 album people have been waiting for.

The lyrics tend towards the banal and, at times, there is a palpable sense of awkwardness. [Dec 2004, p.134]
