    I absolutely adore this album! She gave us solid electro dance pop album that 2020 needed. This was a perfect contiunation to witness. She got over her mental struggles and she’s back even stronger. With this album, she showed us her maturity as an upcoming mother, but she still kept the fun side that her early music is known for.

    Smile is perhaps his best work so far. Lyrically she did an impeccable job, she is vulnerable but strong at the same time, willing to outdo herself. Contains sounds that encourage you to dance with those teary eyes.

After Witness, Perry said herself she was feeling lost (just like her One of the Boys' song), and we can see her journey to get back her smile on this album. Some songs like "Tucked" and "Smile" takes us back to a bit of her old sounds, but it still manages to be coehsive, innovative and fresh. Dare I say this IS her best album, although PRISM will always be unique. It's clearly seen here that she has grown a lot, and is still on this endless path to become her best self. Smile is fun, deep, joyful, peaceful, cheerful. Its peak was definetely "Cry About It Later", in which Katy takes advantage of electroguitars, gritty vocals, and an attitute to die for.     This is easily Katy Perry’s best album yet! Every song is incredible and there for a reason. Her growth is evident in the music. I’m so proud of Katy.

    With Smile, Katy Perry returns from a long and terrible healing process to find smile and happiness. This album is pop perfection, Perry worked hard on this album and it has to be rewarded. Thanks to Katy for releasing Album of the Year at such a difficult time for so many people.

    Sin funda alguna la Reina está devuelta y nos trae arte, quizá muchos críticos supuestamente "profesionales" no lo supieron valorar, pero el publico sabe que es arte en su máxima expresión. Larga vida a Katy!

    Without fleeting moments of bad taste, Perry does indeed sound mature, but she's also not quite as fun. That's a conscious choice, though. Smile is intended to evoke memories of her frivolous younger days while pointing toward a sustainable pop future.

    Like Joanne before Chromatica, Smile plays like a necessary centering exercise, indulging her insecurities and less surefire instincts. If Witness was overdetermined, Smile is an earnest exhale, for better or for worse. It delivers an image of her journey towards inner peace that is honest (if corny) and catchy (if not exactly inventive).
