    Amazing album. Every song brings something fresh. Sad that some of the fangroups from other main pop girls like Taylor or Gaga are trashing it because they cant see others succeed. And the critics are all tonedeaf and misogynistic old men.

    All the musics in this album have a meaning, certainly you're going to cry in a positive way but in the end you will find your smile too. Katy did that and I am proud of her.

    I don't understand critics by saying that he's taken advantage of the pop he used earlier perry. For God's sake you asked him for that in witness and now that he gives it to you you're complaining. It's a fun, deep album. Congratulations Perry

    This is easily one of Katy Perry’s best work. There’s not a single bad song in this album, she really delivered it all!! From catchy melodies to great and well written lyrics, she never ceases to amaze me. It’s INCREDIBLE.

    Katy Perry sobrepasó los límites este álbum es muy bueno, Katy ha madurado y trata de dar a entender que ya no importa lo que otros piensan de ella. Los que se fueron en WITNESS, buen camino, pero los que se quedaron con ella son en verdad leales y por algo son especiales.

    my thoughts abt every song on Smile:
    - never really over and daisies, chef kisses. been loving it from the first few seconds. must try 10/10
    - teary eyes has a really nice tune especially the chrorus, gives me disco vibe! 8/10 - what makes a woman is absolutely lovely, inspiring and endearing. just pure emotions 9.5/10 - cry about it later isn’t my cup of tea at first but it’s definitely a    my thoughts abt every song on Smile:

    - smile, super upbeat and fun-loving! didnt really like it at first but after a 2-3 times re-listening to it, the beat and chorus is stuck to my head. love it 8.5/10
    - not the end of the world reminds me of black widow and dark horse, fast paced and strong 8/10

    now is my top 3 (besides daisies and never really over): tucked: kinda upbeat, lovely and sweet, got me hooked the first time i listened to it, falling in love with it more and more throughout the song. i love the chorus and it’s context so much!!! 9.5/10

    harleys in hawaii: criminally, outrageously underrated??? i honestly dont know why people slept on this masterpiece. gets even better the more you listen to it, the more mature version of teenage dream, still dont know why it’s not a big hit already. give harleys in hawaii a try i beg you, you won’t regret a single second 10/10

    only love: the lyrics is giving me chills and it’s melody. tbh i had low expectations but got surprised because of how well this is sung. even gave me teary eyes too! meaningful and truly empowering 9.5/10

    im kind of a picky listener but katy’s smile the album does NOT disappoint. some songs are actually growers and after the second, third or event fourth time, you might even change your views on them. though our choices and references may be different but i strongly recommend you to listen to my top three, i can guarantee that you’ll enjoy it. daisies and never really over is amazingly good also. go ahead, give them all a try and support smile the album    … Expand

    Without fleeting moments of bad taste, Perry does indeed sound mature, but she's also not quite as fun. That's a conscious choice, though. Smile is intended to evoke memories of her frivolous younger days while pointing toward a sustainable pop future.

    Like Joanne before Chromatica, Smile plays like a necessary centering exercise, indulging her insecurities and less surefire instincts. If Witness was overdetermined, Smile is an earnest exhale, for better or for worse. It delivers an image of her journey towards inner peace that is honest (if corny) and catchy (if not exactly inventive).
