I think her voice is soothing and mellow , each song had a different meaning , and a different vibe to it , ring gave you confidence and in my opinion it’s the best song there , rare makes you feel amazing it makes you feel better about your body and who you are , dance again makes you want to stand and dance in any way you want it makes you feel free from chains , vulnerable and people you know are the most vulnerable songs there beautiful too , cut you off helps you get over a break up ( ring too ) one of my favorites is souvenir, it tells a beautiful story and it has amazing rhythm, vocals if she makes it a single it would be one of the best songs.… Expand

    Selena Gomez's newest LP, "Rare", is nothing new, but it's addictive. The lyrics are meaningful and the songs are very catchy. The production is well done. I can truly agree it's one of her best albums. I would love to see her tackle something new in the future. But, for now, we have "Rare" to bop to.

    Super and mature album from Selena Gomez, her best work yet. Mostly strong songs (Vulnerable, Dance Again, A Sweeter Place, Lose you to Love Me) with very few filler songs (only towards the end of the album).

    Can't wait see what she comes up with next

    After waiting 4 years for an album after revival. There was a lot of pressure on Selena to release an album worth the wait. This album isn’t like most other pop albums. Selena not only experiments with her sound, she does a good job with it. Highlights of this album are Cut you off, sweeter place ft. Kid Cudi, and Ring.

    El trabajo más sólido de Gómez, expresa muy bien sus emociones en las canciones. La lírica es muy buena, su voz es también algo a destacar en el álbum, pero algunas canciones se sienten planas, no se siente como si tuvieran un clímax. El tiempo de espera valió la pena, Selena nos ha entregado uno de los mejores álbumes de 2020 y el mejor de su carrera. 72/100

    I really loved this album, I've been a selenator since 2014 when she released "the heart wants what it wants". Every single song is a bop,my favorites are vulnerable, dance again and cut you off. She puts her emotions and feelings in this project and she worked so hard to do this. Love her and her music.

LYTLM is a masterpiece; a song that creates such deep emotions and I bet many cried while listening to the ROTY. Crowded room is such a cute song. While Fun and kinda crazy are here, I don't feel that they don't belong because they are rare. They belong on this albumThe whole project gives bad girl vibes. The sounds are rare.     Rare is one of the best album in Selena’s career, musically it is very uplifting and a few songs makes me feel sassy like Ring for example. A few songs makes me feel want to dance. My fave song from the album is boyfriend it’s just sassy to me and really groovy, the lyrics is great but the beat is what makes it a true masterpiece.

    While none of these 13 songs attempt the subtle weirdness of “Bad Liar” and the emotional thesis—self-love!—can be a bit one-note, Rare is the 27-year-old’s most cohesive record to date. ... But it’s difficult to come away from Rare with any real perspective on who Gomez is other than that she doesn’t want to be the person she was, whoever that similarly mysterious shadow was.
