This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. Really bad, people love to sh*t on Katy Perry but acclaim this?? Pathetic. No artistic growth, vulgar lyrics, trendy and generic beats, all songs sound the same. Ariana is a talented nice girl but she's been going downhill this year, first she collaborated with fading artists and now this. Expand

This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. It’s a boring ringtone album, nothing new! It’s boring and sounds exactly like her old albums “sweetner” and “thank you, next”! The album cover is also super boring and old! I would recommend “Rare” by Selena Gomez or “Folklore” by Taylor Swift instead Expand

This album is some of her best work! Between the vocals, songwriting, and melodies, every song brings something new to the table but they also stay cohesively tied together to the album theme and sound. This might actually be my favourite album she’s put out yet!

Selena Gomez is the queen of pop and Rare outsold by miles it feels like you don’t care why don’t you recognize I’m so Rare?

On my first listen I couldn't bear to hear it in full as i found it too bad... Though some songs are growers, I hope Ari's next album is better.

It's a bad album overall! The concepts goof but the execution is **** and she clearly didn't live up to the hype her fans created for her 6th album!

I expected something more from Ariana Grande, the album may be a good thing, but it can do more

In general it's a good work but it seems to me that it lacks in some aspects. The whole album seems to have the same songs with the same subjects as always. Sounds better than her previous one but its lyrics could be better.

Grande is making no effort to be discreet, instead explicitly owning her sexuality—the album is called Positions, after all. The juxtaposition of beautiful violin sounds and risqué lyrics has become one of Grande’s signature sounds, and it suits her well.

Grande laid bare may well be seen as a stopgap in her canon, using taboo to checkmate her past trauma, but it does pull off the rare feat of at least sounding effortless.

With little conflict and few psychological insights, Positions zeroes in on the enviable confidence that only pop stars on top of the world and with nothing to lose can afford. It's easy to write it off as empty calories, but pop has always been described in such terms: cake, candy, chocolate, confection. Positions isn't a "sweetener" but pure sugar.
