    I love this album so much! I wanted Ari to do an R&B influenced album for so long and she finally did it! The production, vocals, personality, ugh everything is immaculate. HER BEST ALBUM! MY GIRL HAS DONE IT AGAIN!!!!!!!!!!!!

    This feels rushed and pressured by her trash manager scooter. It's extremely repetitive and is almost comparable to justin biebers latest work, which is trash. Ariana is an INCREDIBLE artist, vocalist, performer, strong asswoman. Idk what this album is

    Ariana delves into somewhat of a contemporary r&b sound, something she's been playing around for a while. The result? An album not hitting the heights of sweetner or her 2019 effort thank u, next but it is still a smooth ride. The features bar doja, doesn't add much to songs and some of the songs do sound too similar, however, it is still one of the better albums of the year!

    “Unforgettable pop”....I’m sorry but that’s not what this is. This is timeless RnB. She is no longer making music for clout, she’s making music for herself. You can hear that this album is coming from such a genuine place, just like Thank U, Next. It’s very different, but to say it’s bad is beyond me. It’s just a different vibe and, in my opinion, her best yet.

    Ariana grande has put up many great albums that contain great songs but this one is not one of them.     I love love love Positions! It’s an amazing record, reminds me of sweetener (another amazing record). The only problem I have with it is that there are some skips. “shut up” and “six thirty” are very forgettable. OTHER THAN THAT, I love it!

    Ariana proving that she doesn’t need to do a single sticky pop song (which we love) to deliver a quality material. Her vocals are greater than ever, the melodies are tasteful and soothing and all that combined with the +18 lyrics. GREAT JOB

    Positions is another forgettable pop album with facile lyricism. Grande hasn't shown an evolution in her sound as opposed to her peers — Lipa with 80s Disco, Swift with indie-pop, etc. It is a compilation of mundane, midtempo trap-pop songs that can already be heard in her previous records as though she's afraid of leaving this "comfort zone."

    Everything Ariana did on this album was taken from her previous works, except now she is lacking the skill of being discrete on sexual topics. It's a power move on one hand to be confident about the body and sex life, but the writing depended on these themes too much, resulting in repetition and laziness.

    definitely one of Ariana's best albums. it has innovated and matured a lot since "thank u, next". Positions is not a crumbly pop album like others out there. I really loved this album, all the tracks are perfect!

Ariana cames in the 60's vibes in sound and your esthetic make the trip for this universe R&B and "Lady Like" vibes. Introducing tracks "chill out" and 90's VHS vibes, like West Side, my favorite song of the album. This album is so intimate and stay home vibes but you can be happy listenig watching the nature the beautiful gray sky on a trip. Congrats Ariana! Love you!… Expand

Ella es una artista muy talentosa, considero que su voz salvó el álbum, pero todo lo pierde con esos ritmos repetitivos que tiene, y con un intento forzado de R&B. Empecemos, "motives" es un Be Alright (AG) y Wild Beach (DC) 2.0, igual considero que este es el mejor del álbum por lo pegajoso y las vibras pop que lleva; pov suena un repetitivo soundtrack de algún programa de niños, o sea que tiene las características de una canción de por ejemplo, la serie en donde estaba. En nasty se nota que los silbidos son innecesarios y sólo un intento de presumir sus vocales; "off the table" es un Earned It 2.0, realmente dejo mucho que desear cuando todos esperaban un Love Me Harder 2.0 al menos. Positions tiene una letra nula con un ritmo más o menos pegajoso, su vídeo sí fue arte, pero la canción nada que ver. 34+35 y just like magic también son buenas pero sus letras y los ritmos que al principio te gustan y al final te llegan a aburrir es lo que malogra estas canciones. Shut up tiene un buen ritmo, buen vocal, parece un soundtrack de alguna película para niños otra vez, mi segunda canción favorita del álbum, a pesar que casi toda la canción es Ariana diciendo shuuuuuuut upppp. Thank you, next fue bueno, pero esta canción a pesar de eso, parece ser un álbum de los descartes de TUN, y malogra toda la estética, ni su portada ayuda, sólo los vocales y que al principio te gustan las canciones pero en la mitad ya te aburren. ¡Una pena que desperdicien un talento así!… Expand

    Ariana está redescobrindo o amor. Depois de tanta dor, o processo de cura de Grande resulta em um álbum gostoso e relaxante de se ouvir. Com altos e baixos (bem menos baixos), Ariana entrega a qualidade vocal de sempre, com bons arranjos, ainda que não se arrisque tanto quanto fez em Sweetener, mas particularmente prefiro os pés no chão que Positions oferece.

Her newest album makes me full non-stop to be heard. Girl, the album is masterpiece and contain lovely sexy lyrical song. Her last song "pov" is the best closing part for the album. O album se destaca por ser um estilo R&B traz um suave album as canções "Motive" com a parceria com a doja cat é maravilhosa e dançante, já em "Safety net" com parceria com o Ty Dolla $ing e é uma música calma que você dá para ouvir repetidamente, é o que falar de "love language"? A batida sensacional e o ritmo de discoteca destaca no álbum. Já em "My hair" Os vocais maravilhosos sao impossível de nao notar, e em "Off the table" com parceria com o The Weeknd Posso dizer é a incrível como os vocais dele se completa é maravilhoso.
    E em "Positions" Além de ter um vídeo clipe Representado uma mulher no cargo de presidente foi tudo pra min passou uma mensagem linda.

    this is a masterpiece, i love the way ariana has matured in her music sound. i have grew up with her songs and i'm so proud of this project.

    This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. First, it is disappointing to see Selena Gomez and Taylor Swift fans abusing the user rating function here. I can’t imagine why they might spend their time trying to pull Ariana down considering she is a totally different type of artist: an A-level vocalist who is expanding her repertoire as an engineer, producer, and yes, writer. But it’s still her voice that gets me every time. Positions shows more growth here than even Sweetener did - at times she is low, lush, smooth as silk. And when she goes high, she reaches the clouds. The phrasing she does in her whistle register during My Hair is *A Moment* in mainstream music history, period. The harmonies throughout, produced and arranged by herself, are at varying times ambient, resonant, and ethereal.

    As far as collabs, I think Safety Net with Ty Dolla wins out, and I say that as a massive fan of the Weeknd (their track, Off the Table, is still in my top five). I also love the bouncy Six Thirty and the chilled-out yet sparkly vibe of Just Like Magic. Of course, POV is very special to any fan who knows what Ariana has been up against, as well as anyone who loves a pop diva vocal ballad. Spectacular, moving, would love more of that.

    I feel like this is the music Ariana always wanted to make. That’s actually pretty evident when you compare this work to some choices she made on Yours Truly. If she’s done kissing up to a pure pop audience, I’m happy for her, and I think she is, too.    … Expand

    Positions is step back in Ariana's career if we compere it with her previous two albums Sweetener and Thank U, Next which were truly great albums. Album is very cohesive but at some point it turns in monotony. Lyrics are good and personal, production is also fine, but it's just something with this album that doesn't work properly, I'm afraid it will be forgotten quickly.

    Grande is making no effort to be discreet, instead explicitly owning her sexuality—the album is called Positions, after all. The juxtaposition of beautiful violin sounds and risqué lyrics has become one of Grande’s signature sounds, and it suits her well.

    With little conflict and few psychological insights, Positions zeroes in on the enviable confidence that only pop stars on top of the world and with nothing to lose can afford. It's easy to write it off as empty calories, but pop has always been described in such terms: cake, candy, chocolate, confection. Positions isn't a "sweetener" but pure sugar.
