Sep 2, 2019seems like I'm in minor, but this album I liked less then others. Only Cinnamon Girl and Doin' time are songs that I liked.
-
Aug 31, 2019Some good songs but it gets hard to listen because of how slow it feels. A bit overrated.
-

Aug 30, 2019I’m a really big fan of Lana del rey, and I really do think that she’s so underrated but.. this album is just not it for me. It’s coherent but too repetitiv. I really loved doin’ time, Cinammon Girl. The best song on the album for me is « the next best american record »
I still love you Lana, but it just ain’t for me. -

Aug 30, 2019Easily her worst album yet. There is no flow through the album, and no power or oomph to even one or two songs. It's such a shame, because the wait for this album since it was first announced was a very long time of suspense just for nothing.
-
Sep 1, 2019Very mediocre and borderline boring. I’ve always liked Lana but this is not it. She gets the 4 only for the lyrical content because that is always on point.

Aug 31, 2019Best album everrrr. Lana is such a queen . Honestly she cares about her music and fans so much. Thats amazing. She gave us the best album
-
Sep 2, 2019Lana out does herself with every album release. A modern day poet. Love this one dearly.
-
Sep 26, 2019It could be my first time ever when i disagree with most of opinions about any of her albums. Quite overrated work. Repetitive with not much of original ideas. Seeing such rave reviews surprises me a lot. Is there a mass hysteria/conspiracy or i am somehow lost?
-
Mar 21, 2021Doin Time is my favorite. I still wish old Lana would come back. I really miss the Summertime Sadness times, more catchy songs would be good once again.
-
Jan 30, 2021Lizzy Grant makes pretty much the same album for the third time, but adds extra cuss words because, um, that means artistic progression? I'd wait for the drugs to finally wear off, but it's all an act, people, and it's so stagnant I can smell it through the screen.
-
Aug 31, 2019Good work but personally the least fave Lana album to date - a bit mellow with really few highlights
-
Oct 5, 2019i need reinventing, sorry luvs, i'm done with lana style. Same instrumentals, same themes/ lyrics, yes, se has a nice voice BUT ITS BORING WHEN ITS THE SAME THE WHOLE SONG, i just cant enjoy this album
-
Sep 5, 2019Norman **** Rockwell is the definition of a bland Lana Del Rey Album, same old tired vocals and melodies, some tracks like Venice **** that had a runtime over than 9 minutes were a drag i didn't understand what she was saying what so ever. the way she sings makes it so hard to understand... even Jack Antonoff couldn't save this record

Sep 2, 2019This is bland and cliche but i like the two first tracks i guess. the theme of the songs are a little too mature for my taste and maybe Lana should find more inspiration to write about than just cursing for 3 minute straights?
-
Aug 30, 2019Her voice is amazing, but i think se has the same rhythms in every single song
-
Aug 31, 2019Its a solid album, don't get me wrong but it isn't anything special or groundbreaking.
-
Aug 31, 2019it's the most boring Lana del Rey album, with less than half of the album really good. I thought Honeymoon would be his worst album for the rest of his career, but Norman Fuking Rockwell came to take that throne away.

Sep 1, 2019**** INCREDIBLE. Every album demonstrates her growth and this truly has something for everyone.

Sep 9, 2019I still don't know if it's a problem but Lana always sounds the same.I listened to all songs of the album and yes,we have masterpieces like Marines Apartment Complex and Love Song but at the end I felt like I was listening to the same song on repeat. The album is far from a bad job but Lana needs to evolve.
-
Jan 16, 2020Beats on a singular tone the entire time, centering on themes that sound less like tragedy and more like self-fulfilling prophecy. She drops American buzzwords like its her day job. The cussing is novel, but also crude and ham fisted.

Mar 21, 2021This album has a lyrics that is on point, but this album doesn't prove anything such as innovation. Nothing new with the production.

Oct 9, 2019Things inevitably drift, but beneath the surface in the best songs there is a toughness and a newfound resilience.
-
Oct 2, 2019It's a remarkably sharp pop record that retains her fascination with pop-culture iconography and the rosey simplicity of a post-war America where classic rock and blue jeans ruled and takes them to much deeper places. ... Think of it as an hour-long car ride peeling down the highway with classic rock blaring out of the radio and no real destination in mind other than where your impulsive nature might take you.

UncutSep 19, 2019A thematically rich record, heavy on mood and elegantly written in a way that positions Del Rey between Eve Babitz and Carole King. There are beguiling and evolving melodies underneath the spare piano and acoustic arrangements. [Nov 2019, p.24]
