While the guest MCs provide the better-known names (Ghetts, Kojey Radical), it is the singers who make this such a special album. [Mar 2019, p.120]

Swindle wears his perfectionism lightly: satisfying tastebuds while leaving listeners hungry for more. [Mar 2019, p.98]

There is so much right about this album that it’s hard to criticise: Swindle’s vision to blend different worlds of underground music, together with his choice of features--as well as intriguing changes in pace--are what makes this album great.

Swindle and his carefully curated mix of guests manage to craft a joyous fusion of sound instilled with pertinent life lessons on No More Normal. It's a celebration of the connections that make our lives richer but also one that shows a unique musical talent at the very top of his game.

No More Normal showcases UK talent proudly, but bringing so much of it together, loses some of the character that might attract new listeners to UK music. Reaching for the historical weight of Soul II Soul, it ends up with the easy going vibe of The Brand New Heavies. [Apr 2019, p.59]

Swindle aims high on No More Normal, which is clearly intended for a widespread audience rather than the U.K. underground massive, and its best moments are grand and inspirational.

"No More Normal" is an attempt to stylistic limitations, to expand musical boundaries, combining genres and stratifying their time contexts. The past and present of the music are intertwined into one composition and become one album, without losing relevance for any connoisseur of genres. Cameron just found a middle ground: and now, against the backdrop of chic jazz orchestrations, we slish modern beats, intriguing changes in the rhythm and performance of artists of different genres.

____ Wonderful album! Impressed and long remembered. Especially: California and Talk a Lot.
