    Melodrama is such a fresh and delightful experience... Lorde gave us something new and exciting in a moment when mainstream music seem to be letting most people down. I personally loved how she played with her voice on tracks like "Writer in the Dark". It's amazing how she showed us her voice in different ways and to see how she grew as an artist and songwriter.

    Melhor álbum do ano, eu não esperava menos da rainha , letras maravilhosas e um vocal surpreendente e gostoso, espero ter muitos clipes nesse álbum, amém.

    Eu espero q as crianças parem de ficar trocando critica negativa e fazerem essa birra de Lorde x Lana,da pra ouvir a musica da duas em paz eu amo o Lust for Life tanto quanto o Melodrama e estou dando nota alta para os dois.São duas cantoras maravilhosas que não merece esses fãs nojentos! Vamos só aproveitar essas músicas gente!

    Es difícil adaptarse al nuevo estilo, pero una vez que lo entendés y asimilás resulta ser un álbum coherente y minuciosamente construido, con intertextualidad en todas sus canciones y un sentimiento homogéneo, que a la vez es muy variado. Muchas canciones me resultaron insulsas y muy pretenciosas, parecidas a lo que me podría encontrar en un 1989 de Taylor Swift (Como Supercut, repetitivaEs difícil adaptarse al nuevo estilo, pero una vez que lo entendés y asimilás resulta ser un álbum coherente y minuciosamente construido, con intertextualidad en todas sus canciones y un sentimiento homogéneo, que a la vez es muy variado. Muchas canciones me resultaron insulsas y muy pretenciosas, parecidas a lo que me podría encontrar en un 1989 de Taylor Swift (Como Supercut, repetitiva y plástica, nada parecido al estilo de Lorde), pero por lo demás me gustó mucho y me enamoré de su reinvención.… Expand

Lorde siendo una cantautora tan joven nos transmite una madurez sentimental impresionante, me siento identificado con la letra de las canciones con cada una porque todos hemos pasado por este tipo de sentimientos en algún momento de rompimiento. La producción está llena de sonidos nuevos que envuelven en propósito sentimental de cada canción. Lorde nos presenta a una persona nueva comparada con su álbum debut pero sin olvidar la seriedad en la letra acompañada de sonidos enternecedores y rítmicos, le doy un 10 cerrado por cada canción desde Green light hasta perfect places cada uno de los temas es de una calidad sin precedentes. No puedo elegir una favorita en este álbum pues todas me encantaron.… Expand

    I'm obsessed with this album exactly.Everyone should listen Melodrama! Lorde is the future of music. Such an incredible work. Every title, every tune and every song is magical and too meaningful for me.

    No soy muy fan de lorde pero este álbum tiene un gran impacto la originalidad de cada canción lo hace único siendo uno de los mejores álbumes de la historia del alternativo. Espero mas de 2 grammys esta ves.

É incrivel como a Lorde conseguiu trazer algo de qualidade mesmo com temas clichês que é o “fim de relacionamento”, mas engana-se quem acha que é apenas isso. É uma história sobre uma festa, sobre conhecer alguém, perder o rumo, descobrir-se, decepcionar-se, ser feliz e triste, ficar sozinho, ficar rodeado de gente. São 11 faixas tãoEsse álbum é simples, cheio de lirismo e coeso. É incrivel como a Lorde conseguiu trazer algo de qualidade mesmo com temas clichês que é o “fim de relacionamento”, mas engana-se quem acha que é apenas isso. É uma história sobre uma festa, sobre conhecer alguém, perder o rumo, descobrir-se, decepcionar-se, ser feliz e triste, ficar sozinho, ficar rodeado de gente. São 11 faixas tão importantes para o conceito que até mesmo a curta e simples “Liability (Reprise)” faria falta para o álbum. Há canções simples e orgânicas como “Writer In The Dark” até as mega-produções “Sober”, “Green Light” e “Perfect Places”. É interessante ver um minimalismo diferente do que a Lorde está habituada em “The Louvre”, com acordes de violão e guitarra, antes não explorados pela cantora, espaços vazios, sons de batida de coração, suspiros... E as letras, então... Nunca a Lorde foi tão sincera consigo mesma, entregando toda a sua alma em suas músicas, suas angústias, seu sentimento de coração partido, de jovem em ascensão.     lorde is amazing, the lyrics are excellent and their voice produces feelings for their viewers, the themes that love addresses, loneliness, maturity approaches them in a subtle and perfect way, extremely undervalued, the best pop album of the year 2017

But in Melodrama, she has transcended the sterile nature of pop music, taken it to maximalist degrees, and used it as the vehicle to express her sentiments on youth and heartbreak in the rawest form possible. Lorde has obviously spared herself from delivering a Royals 2.0, withSince her smash debut LP, Lorde has always been noted for her songwriting prowess and eclectic production style.     Lord has changed his sonority and with that the album is wonderful. Production to the point, we do not have bad bands or are considered audible! Lord has overcome.

    This is simply a masterpiece. Everything on this album is perfectly created, the lyrics are truly beautiful, the production is out of this world. For me, this could be the album of the century.

    it's been two years since the release of this masterpiece and every words and melody transcends through my heart. Melodrama captured the fear, the agony, melancholy and happiness of human relationships. Melodrama will forever be that one album you can pour your tears out and dance along with strangers at the same time

I could read this like a poem and enjoy it, yet the unique production on tracks like HF/L and HD leave a strong impression that these tracks wouldn’t be the same without. Lorde isn’t the perfect vocalist, but makes up for it with raw emotion in her voice especially on WITD. This hasI feel very strongly about each track.     There are no gimmicks. There’s nothing screaming for acceptance. Melodrama is a raw, real album under its sparkly clean production. One written for the masses but able to resonate with each individual listener.
