    When the first time I have heard the entire album learned did some serious tinkering in this one the message in each songs are so deep and relate able she really outdid herself this time she proved those haters that she can write some serious songs, I love her music and I love her she's really amazing she's like Taylor 2.0

    This is so far away the best pop album of 2017. It makes u go anywhere you like and feels like a party of emotions that never ends. Lorde became so stronger in what she's doing, taking a great jump from debut "Pure Heroine", also evolving her style.

    Lorde truly delivered one of—if not the best—albums of 2017. The album was a phenomenal body of work with each track being indulgent. The album reels you more and more as you listen. The retro-sounding production contributes to the album's excellence as well. The album overall is unique and brilliant. Lorde did THAT.

    Certainly the best album of the year. It was hard to wait 4 years but it was worth it. The lyrics are so deep and meaningful. Her voice is really beautiful.

    Amazing lyrics, Intellingent beats. There isn't a lot of things about this act, with only 20 years has 2 differents albums but both are incredible,, she developed and innovated with so much quality. Lorde is the best of her generation and it is the future of the music.

    In this pop album, Lorde beautifully delivers the joy of being alone with a 11 set of songs with the concept of a single house party. With amazing and honest lyrics and tight production, Lorde crafted one of the best pop albums of the last few years.

    With an exquisite production, the album holds in its catalogue some unforgettable tunes, from the triumphant opener 'Green Light', to the infectious anthem 'Supercut', which highly resembles Robyn's 2010 hit song 'Dancing on My Own', to the Kate Bush-esque ballad 'Writing in the Dark', or the eerie and orchestral 'Sober II (Melodrama)' that perfectly embodies the "melodramatic" atmosphere of the album, a song that I love to describe as the lovechild of Kanye West and James Blake.
    The songwriting on this album does not disappoint as well, Ms. Yelich-O'Connor carving quite some memorable lines in her listeners' mind, such as "I still feel you, now and then/ Slow like pseudo-ephedrine/ When you see me, will you say I've changed?" from the wrenching ballad 'Writer in The Dark", or "I am your sweetheart psychopathic crush/ Drink up your movements, still I can't get enough" from my personal favourite track off this album, "The Louvre".
    There are so many lines, so many aspects to dissect from this pop masterpiece, but hey, I'm not a qualified critic, so I'll let the big dogs do their job. One final thing to add, this album has a huge potential of getting an Album of The Year nomination, and even winning. Congratulations, Ella! You've done it again! Collapse    … Expand

    Cuando salió "Green Light" al comienzo no me gusto tanto, ni la canción ni el cambio de sonido. Si mal no recuerdo, después salió "Liability" y me enamoré instantáneamente. Decidí darle otra oportunidad a "Green Light" y al escucharla detenidamente prestando atención a la letra me encantó la forma en que fue compuesta y me retracté de mi primera impresión. Después cada canción que ibaCuando salió "Green Light" al comienzo no me gusto tanto, ni la canción ni el cambio de sonido. Si mal no recuerdo, después salió "Liability" y me enamoré instantáneamente. Decidí darle otra oportunidad a "Green Light" y al escucharla detenidamente prestando atención a la letra me encantó la forma en que fue compuesta y me retracté de mi primera impresión. Después cada canción que iba saliendo era mejor y mejor. "Homemade Dynamite" & "Sober" tienen más de 10 en producción. "Supercut" es una perfecta canción POP que debería ser single. Los interludios también, todo en este álbum es perfecto. Así como también la cohesión del orden de las canciones en el álbum como van contando la historia y como va pasando por las diferentes fases de conocer a alguien nuevo.     Llevaba esperando este álbum hace muchísimo tiempo y cuando lo escuché por primera vez fue como recordar aquellos tiempos de cuando escuché Pure Heroine. La verdad es que yo me esperaba un excelente álbum, tenía la certeza de que iba a ser excelente, y Ella Yelich O-Connor me dio eso y muchísimo más, me llena de euforia saber que alguien con tu misma edad sepa transformar sucesos que teLlevaba esperando este álbum hace muchísimo tiempo y cuando lo escuché por primera vez fue como recordar aquellos tiempos de cuando escuché Pure Heroine.     Anjing woy bagus banget dah nih album. The songs are very rich melodically and the instrumentals are breath-taking. Definitely what we were all waiting for in Pop Music. I love Lorde. But I consider Louvre hideous, that's why I gave a 10. But all the others are heavenly, Sober II, Sober, Homemade Dynamite, Writer in The Dark. Love them all!

    Lorde, the greatest of greatest, still so real. I love the way this album makes me feel like I know her. And yes, from what I see a I can say she is rare, truly artistic persona, who does not want to make hits. The way she balanced pop and alternative art, that is something really unique. Thanks for that, Lorde, you make music alive.

    I've never heard something like this before!! Everything about this album is so different, unique, artistic and somehow weird. Each and every song tells a different experience but the whole tracklist just flow around the main story which is solitude and partying alone. While the instrumentals in this record are mind blowing and genius, the lyrics still are the album's biggest asset,I've never heard something like this before!!     The emotions Lorde paints with her personal experiences really makes for an enthralling listening experience.Its as if she captured the emotions of a our digital generation, and compressed them into these lovely tracks on the album. Each track has its own setting for you to escape in, and relatable concepts that question the lifestyle of a generation. One of the best albums I've heard this year.

    Una vez más Lorde lo supera, superó mis expectativas, Melodrama es una obra maestra. Desde la primera canción hasta la última no dejas de decir "Dios mío esto si es arte" merece el mejor de los reconocimientos.

    Listening to this album is an emotional rollercoaster. Even if you are not going through a heartbreak, or been harmed emotionally, this album will resonate with you and you will even wish you were broken-hearted to relate even more. Lyrics, composition, cohesiveness and composition on point.
    Favorite tracks are: The Louvre, Hard Feelings, Sober and Supercut.

    Incredible album from start to finish. I've been loving Pure Heroine since it came out in 2013 but I actually love this album even more. Outstanding lyrics, vocals and production. I feel that just like Pure Heroine I'll be listening to this album for years to come and still enjoying it just as much.

Tiene canciones para bailar, y otras para relajarte, por lo que podes escucharlo en cualquier momento! las letras tan personales lo hacen magnifico. ninguna otra persona que no fuera ella podria cantarlo. sin duda mejoro muchisimo, y para bien!

    hard feelings es la mejor cancion sin duda! el ritmo, la letra... sublime! lo que mejoro esta mujer vocalmente y en sonido no se puede creer. Los violines y guitarras suenan hermsos, incluso con las canciones de su viejo album. Buen trabajo Lorde!

    Lo que estamos seguros es que la espera de casi 4 años valió la pena, este álbum esta bien hecho, en letra, voz y producción, Lorde se ha colocado en otro nivel, una niña ñrodigio de la música, he disfrutado este álbum desde que salió.

    A truly masterpiece, everything on the right place and all the songs tells a story, full of deep feelings put on a way that everyone can identify themselves. Melodrama is a proof that release records every year is not necessary, the best way is take a breath and let the inspiration happen.

Y también nos demostró que puede hacer tonos mas agudos de los que pensábamos, como en writer in the dark. la canción "hard feelings/Loveless" es una cancion de dos partes perfectamente realizada, en dondeCon este album, Lorde demostró ser el "futuro de la música" como lo había dicho en momento David Bowie.     I'm pretty sure this is her best work by far. That's an album that I can totally relate to. I loved it. It's pretty weird by the first time you listen to it, but if you keep going, I'm sure you'll get addicted to this album.

    Melodrama is in my opinion the best album released in 2017. Everything from the lyrical content to production is absolutely top notch. This album is one big step for Lorde and I'm glad she delivered!

Lorde siendo una cantautora tan joven nos transmite una madurez sentimental impresionante, me siento identificado con la letra de las canciones con cada una porque todos hemos pasado por este tipo de sentimientos en algún momento de rompimiento. La producción está llena de sonidos nuevos que envuelven en propósito sentimental de cada canción. Lorde nos presenta a una persona nueva comparada con su álbum debut pero sin olvidar la seriedad en la letra acompañada de sonidos enternecedores y rítmicos, le doy un 10 cerrado por cada canción desde Green light hasta perfect places cada uno de los temas es de una calidad sin precedentes.     There are no gimmicks. There’s nothing screaming for acceptance. Melodrama is a raw, real album under its sparkly clean production. One written for the masses but able to resonate with each individual listener.
