    The only thing critics had been saying negatively about this album is that it’s too long. And so far, they’re the only ones complaining. As I see it, this album is for her fans and herself, so 18 tracks really isn’t an issue here. I didn’t like ME! at first but knowing her style, I knew it’s probably the not-so-best track off the album (much like LWYMMD from reputation). Y’all just making excuses to hate on her, and to be honest, it’s your loss. I know people would say “I miss the old Taylor” or RED was better, what this album symbolizes is her growth in all aspects of her life, and I love a story of maturity. This 18-tracked album may be overwhelming at first but once you give it a listen, you’ll find yourself hitting that ‘repeat’ button and listening to it for ten more rounds.… Expand

    Taylor Swift continues to embrace her talent of songwriting and this beautifully shines in her 7th album 'Lover'. Well written lyrics weaved with outstanding production brings the album on a whole new level. Other than being a collection of love songs, it gets people thinking about issues occurring in society today such as feminism and equality.

    I think Lover is one of her best albums to date. She's continuing to grow but still connecting to her past albums and song. I'm excited to see where/what she'll do with singles because she has plenty of options.

    THE ALBUM OF YEAR!!!! Hands down to queen Taylor she proves again that is one of the best songwriters of this era. Any song of this album has something special in it, production-wise or lyrics, love the way Taylor put out a mature thinking as a distinctive flag for the album with a message of hope and care for the feelings that we as humans feel everyday.

    The album is very well balanced and doesn't feel long or boring at all even though it contains 18 tracks. Once again Taylor proved to be one of the best songwriters in the game and the production is very different in every song thanks to the collaboration with Jack Antonoff.

    Definitely my favorite album released this year. Best pop album I’ve heard in years. It is filled with many jams that have great lyrical content. Although there are many upbeat songs there’s also just enough slower songs to balance out the whole album.

    American Queen did it again. Every song is literally a masterpiece with beautiful lyrics. Best album of hers. Also best album of the decade.

    Fresh, romantic, authentic, it creates such a beautiful atmosphere and the way the tracks flow compliments the album so well. Taylor's voice sounds like an instrument (in a good way) and the production doesn't outshine her. I wish Selena was featured on one of the tracks. However, it's very personal and worth listening and don't even make me start with the lyrics, damnn...it makes yourFresh, romantic, authentic, it creates such a beautiful atmosphere and the way the tracks flow compliments the album so well.     Lover is a fabulous record, full of super-fun standout pop hits that make your heart burst. It oozes with Swift’s much more palatable upbeat sass. She’s in love and also thinking about different kinds of love.
