    Brilliant album! The group's widely known for experimenting with different genres and sounds, and having beautiful/empowering lyrics so i wasn't disappointed. My most favourites were: TTU, Singularity, Paradise, Anpanman, Outro: Tear and Airplane pt2. They exceeded my expectations with their Love Yourself series.

    The album is very creatively composed in terms of music and lyrics. The themes and genres alter in each song, which is very intriguing cause not many artists nowadays attempt this level of variation in a single album. My personal favourite tracks are Paradise and Outro: Tear. The lyrics and the music go well together and work effectively. Good job to BTS, they're not my first Korean musicThe album is very creatively composed in terms of music and lyrics.     The genres for every tracklist from this album is so diverse. This album is unique and universal. The lyrics also have alot of messages and not a waste to listen to this full album. Usually, kpop songs is not diverse in genre. One album but all of the song sounds the same. But not with BTS musics. 1 album have 10-12 songs it means they have 10-12 different genres. BTS composed and producedThe genres for every tracklist from this album is so diverse. This album is unique and universal.     This album blew my mind the moment I listened to it when it was first released and still blows my mind listening to it now. easily one of bts' best albums and one of the best albums released in 2018.

    This album has exceeded all of the expectations I had. Each song was incredibly unique in style, the lyrics were meaningful and catchy, I loved that there were messages written in each and every line, something to understand and analyze rather than just listen to. The members' voices are unique, the rap style is different, the good type. If you listen to the album without bias, you'llThis album has exceeded all of the expectations I had.     This is one of the bestest BTS album I've listened so far. Now I understand why BTS is getting recognitions these days. Those who are saying negative things about the album is either stupid or likes mediocre musics. They don't know what they are missing.

    The songs are fresh and have a timeless construct. All the solo songs have a strong sense of belonging that comes naturally to the artist that created it while the group songs have a strong sense of directionality with where they want to take the track. Well made and well produced album. Perfect amalgamation of all things BTS.

    This album is really great. I think if you take the time to listen to each and every one of their songs from this album and previous albums, there will be a song that will make you fall in love with BTS instantly. Personally in this album, I love the intro because it's kind of like R&B style which I personally really enjoy listening to so i recommend this song for you. I really hope BTSThis album is really great.     This album is one of the best albums of 2018. The prdouction of each song is nowhere near mediocre and i love it how the album tells a storyline. Definitely worth a listen

    I’m new to the kpop genre. I saw bts for the first time on Good Morning America so I decided, okay let me check out this group. The songs on this album were good. Some were heavy hitters, and some were eh, just okay. But then Paradise came on and it really kinda changed my views on them. The melody, the beats, the rapping, the singing - the whole song was so well pieced together. I thinkI’m new to the kpop genre. I think with kpop groups (from what I’ve heard so far for myself), they focus more on the lyrics. Meanwhile, bts focuses on the beats and the lyrics and makes sure it’s easy on the ears and enjoyable. Sometimes you just want to hear the beats like in 134340 or listen to the lyrics like in The Truth Untold. All around this was a solid album. I know they’re done with the Love Yourself Series so I’m willing to stick around and see what songs they’d have coming up next. They just might snag me as a new fan… Expand

    Their best album for me. Songs like 134340 and Singularity showed they can try a different sound but make it their own at the same time. The whole album felt cohesive and well-made. I am glad they have been trying to evlolve and make better music and not just try the same things that might have worked in the past.

    BTS never disappointed an amazing album with a lot of genres, great production, great versatility, great delivery in all the songs. My pick, Paradise, fantastic song with a wonderful messages.

    What makes this album so good, it's that is relatable. The lyrics make perfect sens in the history that they are trying to conveying. To anyone that has doubt of checking them. You should.

    Innovative, beautiful and full of amazing symbolism. From its R&B intro, Singularity, through its iconic title track FAKE LOVE and all its B-sides like 134340, Love Maze, Anpanman, culminating into its trap outro, Tear, the second album in BTS's Love Yourself series is certainly a masterpiece unto itself.
    Completely deserving of its historical #1 on the Billboard 200 chart and of a 10/10 score!

I am Asian, but never actually into K-pop before, thinking the whole Music Industry of this kind of being too 'manufactured'and second-graded compared to US-UK songs. BTS and this album changed my whole perspective. I have never thought a K-pop album would be THIS good, this beautiful, meaningful, carefully made and inspiring lyrics, with beats and raps and vocals that brings you happiness and hopes even though you do not understand what they are singing. It's rare to see an album that truly reflects the saying "Music has no language barriers". Especially love "The truth untold" and "Airplane pt.2".… Expand

    It is an amazing album which brings one to a roller-coaster ride of emotions from the sadness of fake love to hope and happiness in magic shop. It is composed of an array of genres that it doesn't get boring to listen to. Rap and Vocals are top notch and one can hear the emotions from them. Would definitely recommend others to try it out with an open mind.

    I have always loved varying genres. These boys doing good experimenting with their music. Can see why people like them. I gave it a listen thinking I’d try one song and ended up playing the entire album. My CD player is a good friend, went and bought the physical album and let me just say, sound quality was on point.     This album really takes me on a journey, both the music itself and its lyrics.. There's a variety of genres and they're all perfect so it's impossible to pick a favorite. If you're into chill music, anguished heartfelt music, dance your ass off music... this album is for everyone. The rapline shook me to the bone with outro:tear and the vocal line had me crying on the bathroom floor. IThis album really takes me on a journey, both the music itself and its lyrics.. There's a variety of genres and they're all perfect so it's impossible to pick a favorite.     This album is one of the most diverse albums I've heard. Not a single song sounds similar, yet with the messages of the songs all connect through out the album; it truly is impressive. My favorite songs from the album are The Truth Untold, Airplane pt.2, and Outro: Tear. It's really hard to pick, honestly they are all good

I think the 3 Trivias sums up really good the 3 states on a relationship. The lyrics are perfect as always, and the emotions on this album can touch your heart and move your feets so easly.     Every song on this album is unique, the lyrics are very meaningful and the whole concept of showing the darker side of love or questioning oneself was executed very well. Some of my favorites include, singularity, the truth untold, paradise, anpanman, outro tear and 134340.

    there is a song called 'Magic Shop' in this album. maybe it sounds cliche or else but this song is really help me going through my hardships and problem. this songs like a medicine to me it heals me, the lyrics behind it really touched me. i could see bts as my magic medicine through this album.

    I think this is their best album yet. Listening to it from beginning to end has been an amazing experience. The starting track Singularity perfectly sets the album's mood. It's sultry and has hints of neo Soul and Jazz. Paradise following it has R&B vibes and the lyrics send a great message to anyone who feels as if the world around them is too fast phased and they have no tangible goal toI think this is their best album yet. Listening to it from beginning to end has been an amazing experience. The starting track Singularity perfectly sets the album's mood. It's sultry and has hints of neo Soul and Jazz. Paradise following it has R&B vibes and the lyrics send a great message to anyone who feels as if the world around them is too fast phased and they have no tangible goal to hold on to. 134340 ( my second favourite track) has a playful flute melody which is juxtapositioned with sad lyrics that portray the view point of Pluto who has been stipped of his name yet still orbits around the sun ( the song in my view warns people not to mold their identity based on their partner's preferences, since if said partner leaves, you are left stripped from your own identity and confused about who you are). The Truth Untold is a very emotional song which has bare instrumentals that allow the four vocalist to display their raw and unedited voices. The song from what I know is based on an old Italian fairytale and revolves around the idea of hiding behind a mask and not confronting your true flawed self ( this is a big theme in the album ). Magic Shop in my opinion is the turning point of the album. Its a comforting song dedicated to the fans which highlights the small things in life which bring the greatest amount of joy and happiness ( like drinking warm tea or stargazing). Love Maze follows the positive message and is a relatively chill track which allows you to catch your breath before you are bombarded with the last 3 songs, each completely different from its previous. Airplane pt. 2 resides in more Latin territory, nothing what BTS has done before. The song is very catchy and boasts about the international success BTS has gained and their love for making music. Second to last track Anpanman is perfect for hyping up a crowd yet the lyrics are surprisingly somber and tell of BTS' struggles yet their persistence of continuing making music and becoming a superhero figure to anyone who listens to them. The last track Outro:Tear (my top favourite) perfectly ends the album. It consists of the 3 rappers and is an overall very passionate and emotional song. All three rappers delivered their verses immaculately and to my surprise ( Suga and Jhope particularly) showed large experimentation in the way they rap. Overall I absolutely loved the album and 10/10 recommend giving it a listen at least once. Its a very diverse album that has a song for everyone to enjoy.… Expand

    A great cohesive album that has something for everybody while still ataying true to the integral theme. Beautiful musicality and poetic lyrics. BTS lyrics have always been very expressive and clever but they are exceptionally good in this album. If you do not speak Korean but are open minded to global music I highly recommend this album. You won't be disappointed.

    This album is a story from start to finish. It takes you on a journey. The lyrics are powerful and the production is exceptional. So impressed how they have mastered their craft. BTS most certainly needs to be known for the music and message.

    O álbum revela um maior questionamento sobre a pessoa que nós somos, um lado obscuro. O design do álbum em si também combinou muito com a mensagem que BTS está tentando trazer para o mundo. A faixa título "Fake Love" além de ter uma ótima harmonia das vezes, batidas viciantes e uma letra profunda foi uma ótima escolha, apesar da minha favorita do álbum ser Magic Shop, haha.

Hanno saputo rischiare e proporre un album che ancora oggi non è stato superato nel K-Pop, a mio parere.

    This album becomes unique and totally one of the group. The idea of doing something more obscure, and simply amazing and they worked so well that sound is impeccable. Strong compositions that touches from the young to adult, his production brings every detail of the seven. It's different and brings prominence.

    this album is AMAZING, isn't the typical pop that we always hear it, is more alternative and with a style so different, please the concept is universal, please read the lyrics and listen the album just no one time, twice or more times. you can listen the variety, the effects, the instruments, is equilibrating

    Amazing album! I would rate it a 10 for Fake Love and Outro:Tear alone, but there's not one skip on this album. BTS are real artists.

    Beautiful lyrics and a amazing set that’s made me cry love it so much. They show you pain will only ever make you stronger and after 7 years of the music industry they obviously have went through a lot. From sharing a one bedroom room with 7 teenager boys to finally have the success they deserve. Thank you for your blood sweat and tears for the past 7 years.

    Não consigo acreditar que essa obra de arte esteja com uma nota tão baixa por aqui. É sem sombra de dúvida um dos meus trabalhos preferidos desses meninos, é tão pessoal e sensível. Um contraste perfeito com o álbum anterior deles, Her, e que mais tarde vai formar o balance perfeito para o próximo, Answer.

    One of their, IF NOT, their best album, it's just an amazing mix of diffrent tunes and genres. 134340 is CRIMINALLY underated and is one of my favorite bts songs ever. This album is known to be one of their best and that is true!

    it's a perfect for me, this album is amazing. It's really cohesive and versatile. They show so much growth as an artist by exploring different sounds. Loved the message that they put in the whole album. Also, the lyrics are good especially in Tear, Fake Love and The Truth Untold and the production in on point on each track.

    Love yourself: Tear is, at the moment of writing, my favourite album of all time. I feel like the songs develop incredibly nicely with both messages and sound from the first one all the way through to the last; it's really well put-together. I love all the songs for every reason. Just a really great album.
