    Es un álbum bastante bueno en cuanto a contenido musical, buenos sonidos de guitarras y piano, un excelente regreso para una de las mejores artistas pop de todos los tiempos. Su interpretación y calidad vocal es impresionante, estoy completamente enamorada de este nuevo trabajo de Lady Gaga.

    HOW can you think this is a step down from ARTPOP? The production is so much cleaner, and we can actually see her voice shine in this record.

    I haven't been a huge fan of her previous work but I'm a big fan of Joanne, and her fans who are complaining about not getting the sound they wanted from this record should know that... Gaga shouldn't have to make the music YOU want but rather,    HOW can you think this is a step down from ARTPOP? The production is so much cleaner, and we can actually see her voice shine in this record.

    I haven't been a huge fan of her previous work but I'm a big fan of Joanne, and her fans who are complaining about not getting the sound they wanted from this record should know that...

    Gaga shouldn't have to make the music YOU want but rather, she should be making the music SHE wants to make. She's never been making music like what's being played on radio- she's again bringing something different to pop music. Give this music a chance!

    Best moments, "Dancin' In Circles", "John Wayne", "Come To Mama" and "Diamond Heart".
    A little of nostalgia in songs like "Just Another Day" and a touch of 'Red and Blue' and 'The Fame'.
    Shocking moments like "Sinner's Prayers", I think is the most different song in the whole album. Emotional moments like "Grigio Girls", "Joanne" and specially "Million Reasons". A brushstroke of 'Born    Best moments, "Dancin' In Circles", "John Wayne", "Come To Mama" and "Diamond Heart".
    A little of nostalgia in songs like "Just Another Day" and a touch of 'Red and Blue' and 'The Fame'.
    Shocking moments like "Sinner's Prayers", I think is the most different song in the whole album.
    Emotional moments like "Grigio Girls", "Joanne" and specially "Million Reasons".

    A really beautiful feminist song on "Hey Girl", and if that was not enough, her partner Florence Whelch give a sweet sensation, their voices are so powerful. Maybe this can be one of the best duets throughout the year, this song is really sexy, fits perfectly with the message.
    Gaga is not just extravagance, it is 'change' too. The chamaleon woman now choose be normal, and that is her extravagance in this album, full of humanity. If we think we knew the most personal side of Gaga, we are wrong, 'Joanne' is the proove that Gaga is not dead and never was dead, she just reborn like a phoenix with a new age accompanied by a simple short and a country pink hat    … Expand

    Joanne is a fantastic work with big names like Mark Ronson, Bloodpop, Beck and others. Lady Gaga brings her true essence and Germanotta family in their songs with clean vocals, lyrics well done and good mixing. Thank Gaga for this masterpiece.

    I'm glad she's being mature and leaving her wigs behind so we can all focus on her music, which is, in fact, pretty good. I must admit she's one of the greatest acts of all time.

    Her best album. Little to no auto-tune. Raw, gritty, powerful and emotional vocals. A-list collaborators: Ronson, Bloodpop, Kevin Parker, Florence Welch, Beck, Father John Misty, Hillary Lindsey. The songs will tug at your emotions because the lyrics are so personal and moving ... this is not your generic pop album. Must Listen. Must buy.

    What is most frustrating about this album is the look inside of what direction it might have taken with the bonus version of Angel Down, easily the most affecting song on the album. It is the one song on the album that RedOne was involved with, and it is the most raw. It is the sound Lady Gaga describes wanting to achieve on the album.     When all is said done, all the reviews, the mixed emotions, I'm feeling lost. I am a fan of singers from Judy Henske to Leonard Cohen to Grimes. I'm not a genre-specific fan. I thought Artpop was much more cohesive than people gave it credit; it just had too many songs (similar to Born This Way). Gaga could easily be an album and a hit artist. That being said, this album just feels overproduced. This has never been a reaction I've had; The Fame was the ultimate postmodern pop album; The Fame Monster the deconstruction of the The Fame; Born This Way the Rock-Horror melodrama album; Artpop more a quasi surrealist pop album. The production matched the tone of every album. Yet for Joanne, the "authenticity" appears performed rather than genuine because of the production. This is made even more evident by the inclusion of the Work Tape. It may have even been a mistake to include the work tape because it shows evidence for Gaga's ability to actually curate an album that could hold up lyrically, musically, and politically with the album's influences and albums from this year. Sinner's Prayer, Million Reasons, and Dancin' in Circles are all songs that also would have been better served with a stripped down production. Rather than Ronson, it would have been interesting to hear Gaga work with someone like Mark Howard and RedOne.

    Joanne is a stylistic change for Gaga, but it often works better than you could even imagine. With a distinct midwest sound, the album marks a new period of Gaga, one that is near and dear to who the real Lady Gaga is.

    I love this album. Overall I consider it her best work to date. While its highest high is not Bad Romance or Poker Face the whole package can surely rival the Fame Monster in my opinion. The length is perfect; there's a healthy balance between ballads and bops and production often gives way for her vocals to shine through (both a good and bad thing sometimes) Artpop was too messy; the factI love this album. Overall I consider it her best work to date. While its highest high is not Bad Romance or Poker Face the whole package can surely rival the Fame Monster in my opinion.     This album was a mixed bag for me at first, but then I found myself listening to some of the songs over and over. Its nowhere near close to the better albums of the year, but still a guilty pleasure for me.

    New Lady Gaga Album, New Lady Gaga. At least that tends to be the sentiment that surrounds each new Gaga release. However, that somewhat implies that at some point (whether it was previously, or whether that be now) Gaga is “inauthentic”. It’s quite obvious that Gaga’s career is indebted to a pastiche of pop cultural vomit, drenched in copious amounts of artifice and layers of spectacle.New Lady Gaga Album, New Lady Gaga. At least that tends to be the sentiment that surrounds each new Gaga release. However, that somewhat implies that at some point (whether it was previously, or whether that be now) Gaga is “inauthentic”. It’s quite obvious that Gaga’s career is indebted to a pastiche of pop cultural vomit, drenched in copious amounts of artifice and layers of spectacle. ARTPOP was very much an illustration of this. Despite the undeserving critical lambast of Joanne’s predecessor I still stand by ARTPOP as Gaga at her most experimental, wild, well produced, textured, and fun.
    In turn this seemingly turned down aesthetic seems to be centering the discussion. To say Joanne is stripped of any aesthetic curation and absent of the gaudy shtick that caked Gaga’s previous efforts is very misleading. Just as its misleading to label this album as “stripped down”.
    The music on Joanne is often tightly layered, fleshy, and even texturally enhanced. Layers of guitars and fuzz dance between each other often on a lot of cuts, underscored often by warble-y synths, plucked bass, and hodgepodged analogue and synthetic beats. Joanne has been criticized for lack of hooks which I can understand. Here it’s not so much the lyrical content that reaches out, and the melodies are less lurching perhaps then on previous Gaga outings, but Joanne isn’t a deal in hooks so much as it is in groove.
    The slink of country stomp “Sinner’s Prayer” and fuzz rock of “John Wayne” have a musical swagger (in the bass particular) that propels the music in a way Gaga hasn’t explored. The 70s piano rock of “Come to Mama”, and 80s electro funk of Florence Welch duet “Hey Girl” are eras from which Gaga has borrowed before, but here their stride is felt right into the bones of the rhythm. The undercurrent of Elton John and Prince are instantly felt upon the first listen of these tracks. This might be aided by vintage fetishist Mark Ronson’s executive co-production. Either way Joanne finds itself sonically resembling a lot of Gaga’s influences in way that they haven’t ever before, while still incorporating a palette of contemporary sounds to keep things somewhat current.
    Gaga doesn’t feel uncomfortable adopting country on aforementioned highlight “Sinner’s Prayer” (who’s sinister guitar lead and stomping drum stroll are immeasurably pleasurable), and piano ballad “Million Reasons”. Fans turned off by these inclusions must’ve forgotten about the string of slight country/piano rock ballads hidden on each of her albums prior (i.e “Speechless”, “You + I”, “Gypsy” etc). Her hearty vibrato and thick lower register never feel out of place bellowing on these country tinged tracks just as they do affectedly breathy over electronic beats and synths.
    Right from the get go Joanne delivers us the girl who grew up on Bruce Springsteen with the bright and leaping rock stomp “Diamond Heart”. “Ayo” combines Motown brass funk with the glitched vocal sampled beats and distorted groove also found on “John Wayne”, in which she pulls of danceable numbers with fuzzy guitars instead of glittery synthesizers.
    The title tack, a beautifully guitar plucked, pseudo folk song, sees Gaga delve into the hurt of her family’s loss of the title’s namesake. Somewhat uplifted with underlying sadness Gaga finds a way to be emotionally resonant in a way she never achieved before.
    The only songs that I really feel leave something to be desired are the Beck assisted, reggae tinged “Dancing in Circles”, and the 80s glam rock of lead single “Perfect Illusion” (a curious pick indeed). The former has been aptly dubbed No Doubt b-roll, with a chorus that would feel at home in the hands of Lana Del Rey. As for “Perfect Illusion”, the somewhat underwritten lyrics (particularly towards the end) divulge in cringe. And despite contribution from Kevin Parker of Tame Impala the song always fizzles at the thought of what it could be.
    The deluxe edition tracks fare better, with the country campfire callout of “Girgio Girls” and the bopping 70s tread of “Just Another Day” following in the footsteps of previous tracks.
    Angel down ends the album on a fine note. Somber and theatrical, Gaga croons over atmospheric strings and synth harps with a subtlety political ally cry over Black Lives Matter and the death of Trayvon Martin.
    Ever since her intense breakthrough, ubiquity, and constant pop cultural dominance, a new Gaga release always comes with its baggage. And as with ARTPOP, Joanne is what is is and isn’t what it isn’t. However, it finds Gaga in a space where she’s exploring a facet of her musical muses that have never rung so resonantly before as they do now.    … Expand

Definitivamente una propuesta que se agradece y que puede nutrir la industria musical e invitar a realizar producciones más orgánicas en las cuales sea posible disfrutar la interpretación de instrumentos, percibir mejor la letra de las canciones y por ende introducirse en suBastante sorprendente para las tendencias del momento, increíbles letras, buena producción e instrumentación.     An incredible record by an extremely talent woman, Joanne may be her best work yet! Infectious hooks and a sense of party combined with an undeniable expression of pain and rage conveyed through a voice so comforting, you almost feel as if she is giving you a great big hug through the music.

A lot happened since ARTPOP era ended, from a hunger press willing to see her failure to a Grammy Winner Jazz Album + a Golden Globe derserving role in AHS Hotel. Gaga shows us a tremendous evolution in her carreer with Joanne. I couldn't be more proud! It's nothing I couldn't expect anythingSuch an amazing album! I've been following Gaga since 2009 and I must say this is THE comeback. It moves away from, and improves upon Gaga's previous mostly purely pop style. In includes rock and country influences seamlessly, making it a truly eclectic album. Este es un álbum explosivo en géneros musicales, dejando lo que se esta llevando en la actualidad, como el Rock, Country (que ha sido una gran base para este álbum), Alternativo, Indie y Dance-Hall, todo esto pasándolo por el filtro tan característico que es el de gaga, Pop. Canciones tan movidas, que por esta se ha caracterizado gaga, como: "Diamond Heart", "A-YO" y "Dancin´ in Circles"; canciones para cantar a gritos como lo es "John Wayne", "Perfect Illusion" y el brutal "Angel Down"; canciones para sentirse con felicidad como estas: "Just Another Day", "Hey Girl" (con Florence Welch), "Come to Mama" o la cancion mas country del album "Sinner´s Prayer"; lo mas conmisionador para recordar viejos momentos como son: "Joanne", "Million Reasons", "Grigio Girls" o el work tape diseñado por el magnifico RedOne, "Angel Down".
    Cada canción es tan única, teniendo su propio es espacio en el disco, tan conmovedora, que los críticos en sus reseñas no entienden por la conceptualización del álbum; canciones tan criticas como lo son "Come to Mama" o "Sinner’s Prayer", es lo que forman este regresa tan inesperado de la extravagante y única Lady Gaga o "Mother Monster" para los "Little Monsters". 10/10    … Expand

    A nice come-back and a good artistic evolution. LG needed a change from her over-the-top career as it has been so far. I approve and applaude her decision.

    Após 8 anos de sua chegada ao núcleo da música pop em sua fase imperial, aqui Lady Gaga se despe de toda sua excentricidade e traz um álbum com sua voz crua e com influência de gêneros Folk/Country.

    Apesar de não atender ao desejo de muitos fãs com o Dance-Pop, o lançamento de Joanne parece um passo importante na sua carreira, já que a cantora mira em outra direção além de seu passado. As letras algumas vezes autobiográficas como em "Diamond Heart", "Million Reasons" e "Perfect Illusion".

    Além disso o álbum faz uma linda homenagem à sua tia falecida de nome na faixa folk "Joanne", razão pela qual a artista leva esse nome de batismo. Uma homenagem para sua amiga Sonja também aparece em outra faixa folk "Grigio Girls".

    Já em outras há o teor político como na faixa "Come To Mama" envolvida por um saxofone de início ao fim, a faixa feminista que relata no conteúdo lírico a sororidade entre as mulheres e conta com a parceria de Florence Welch, "Hey Girl", segue com a sonoridade de "Benny and The Jets" de Elton John.     Excelente álbum. Animador ao ponto de desenvolver uma visão pessoal de quem é Lady Gaga em sua essência. Mostra o quanto a mesma é uma artista completa. As músicas me soam muito pop conceitual e isso é ótimo. Talvez seja o momento para outras artistas deixarem de lado determinadas futilidades e seguirem o exemplo de Joanne.

There are no typical "skipped song" in this album. Dancin' in the Circle, Sinner's Prayer, Angel Down, Diamond Heart, Grigio Girls, and A-YO is the highlighted songsPut ARTPOP at the shelf and listen to this one.     She sings so cute with emotions and power. It should be important today in music culture. On the album we have 14 songs , maybe it's only 47 minutes but it's something incredible. There is some power songs ("Diamond Heart" "A-Yo" "John Wayne" "Perfect Illusion" "Come to Mama" "Just Another Day") and also touching tracks ("Joanne" "Million Reasons" "Angel Down" "Grigio Girls"). Other songs ("Dancin' In Circles" "Sinner's Prayer" "Hey Girl" ) are for some king of meditation and good spirit. So she gave so much work for the album. Every track has its hidden message for people and it says some true about everyone individually. I think that that work should be more appreciated because it's something more that only music. It's not necessarily created to be played on the radio because it's made for grown up people. Congratulations for Gaga and I hope you're gonna record more music like this. The song the album is named after is a powerful ballad that will make every sensitive soul cry, but the best ballad is Angel Down, maybe her masterpiece so far. Most of the songs are very pleasant but not powerful enough as commercial singles, in fact I think thisLady Gaga showed us her most intimate side of herself, maybe in the attempt to regain our trust after the unfortunate Artpop.     Powerful vocals, deep meaning lyrics and catchy melodies. This album shows a new side of Lady Gaga, more personal and sincere. It's proof that she can do whatever. The production made by Jeff Bhasker, BloodPop, Emile Haynie, Josh Homme, Kevin Parker and RedOne was amazing. My favorite songs are Dancin' in Circles, Diamond Heart and Joanne.

I did not understand so many critics talk about her wanting to revolutionize and have failed. No. Gaga did not revolutionize with this album, she just wanted to reconnect her life story with your family. It's a very intimate album. Loved the various musical genres, I confesarI just loved this album. I felt connected with Gaga's emotions, it is so beautiful, deep and fun at the same time.     A refreshing, authentic new LP from the pop icon. Truly full of amazing songs with depth and meaning. The album contains all genres that fits in so perfectly. From Diamond Heart, to John Wayne the album contains bops as well as going deep with angel down. One of, if not the best album of 2016.

    Definitivamente não é um álbum perfeito. Porém, Lady Gaga finalmente lança um álbum com o qual é possível enxergar sua alma. Baladas de arrepiar, músicas dançantes com profundidade em suas letras e a potência vocal dela sendo muito bem utilizada em todas as faixas. Her vocal performances sound traditional and are impressive. The ballads are heartfelt and truly the best she has ever recorded. I can dance, I can sing, I can jump, I can do everything while I'm listening Joanne cause Joanne is MUSIC. It's not a single album, it's a life, it's a dream, it's a miracle.

    This album leads you in a journey from dance and pop music to emotional ballads. It does have it all.

    If you're looking for a return to the days of The Fame and Fame Monster (though there's hints of it here), you will be disappointed. Now that I have that out of the way...

    I love this album in so many ways. It's an honest venture lyrically and musically, spanning country, rock, disco, indie, funk, and at one point a hint of regetone. I honestly think there are so many other songs on    If you're looking for a return to the days of The Fame and Fame Monster (though there's hints of it here), you will be disappointed. Now that I have that out of the way...

    I love this album in so many ways. It's an honest venture lyrically and musically, spanning country, rock, disco, indie, funk, and at one point a hint of regetone. I honestly think there are so many other songs on here that she could have released other than Perfect Illusion as a first single (not that it's a bad song, but it's not one of the strongest on the album by any means). Songs like Joanne and Angel Down show a sense of vulnerability and grounds her (much like prior ballads Speechless and Dope had), while you get the strength and rock & roll star power from songs like A-YO and John Wayne. Her duet with Florence Welch strikes a down tempo funk that you don't really get a lot now adays (it easily sounds like something Prince would have produced). Not this this album doesn't have it's flaws, but they're more endearing than detrimental to this album as a whole.

    Ultimately if you are a fan of hers prior to this (or even if not) this album is worth a listen. It won't be for everyone, but if there's one thing you can get form listening to this album, it's respect for this artist. More than anything, it's a look past the looks and bombast of her prior years in order to see there is truly more than the fame and costumes.    … Expand

    Well, I'll have to admit that I was waiting for something more pop/ syn th-pop, like iconic The Fame Monster or Born This Way, but definitely Joanne surprised me in a positive way, I really liked to hear Gaga incorporating elements of other music genres on her new songs, like rock (I know that she has done it in BTW before, but it sounds more rock-ish at this time) and country... I, as aWell, I'll have to admit that I was waiting for something more pop/ syn th-pop, like iconic The Fame Monster or Born This Way, but definitely Joanne surprised me in a positive way, I really liked to hear Gaga incorporating elements of other music genres on her new songs, like rock (I know that she has done it in BTW before, but it sounds more rock-ish at this time) and country...     Amazing. A true masterpiece. Stripped of the synths, her voice rises on the pure talent of her lyrical and musical talent. It's so unlike her previous works that it stands out as an honest perspective of the unique mind of the woman who once shocked the world by spectacle and has returned to her true craft, music.

    A wonderful album! A wonderful artist! Every album released, his talent and his legacy growing and most respected. This only tends to grow. Each person chooses his own Queen, Lady Gaga for me is the true queen of pop.

    I really wonder why she chose to take two of the (imo) weakest songs as first singles... Million reasons and perfect illusion do not match up to the majority of the songs. Apart from those two (and maybe the ultimately not-so-necessary-yet-still-nice-to-listen-to bonus tracks), all of the tracks are solid 8-10s.

    I can say with confidence: Joanne definitely is the best album of the year! There are great lyrics in this record and also contains different musical genres such as pop, country, rock and folk. That variety is not a problem! It is a very cohesive album and enjoyable to listen to. Once again Lady GaGa presents us a splendid album! I feel honored to live in nowadays and can appreciate whatI can say with confidence: Joanne definitely is the best album of the year!     Lady Gaga's new album, while it's heart is at pop, has influences of rock, country, dance and folk. What's notable is the also the huge range of emotions that arise while listening this album. Her vocals really shine on this record!
    Album has very powerful songs that will become fan favourites, if not singles. Diamond Heart is a great opener track, that tells a survival story of a young    Lady Gaga's new album, while it's heart is at pop, has influences of rock, country, dance and folk.     Album has very powerful songs that will become fan favourites, if not singles. Diamond Heart is a great opener track, that tells a survival story of a young Gaga, dancing on a club, hoping of a better future. Dancing in circles is classic Gaga song, I'd also consider John Wayne one.
    From a storytelling point of view, Sinner's prayer with it's folk-touch should be appreciated more than I've read from reviews. Million Reasons with it's country vibe is also surprisingly fitting for Gaga. Hey Girl is a beautiful song about women not pitting each other against each other.
    The title track, Joanne, is a heartbreaking song relying on acoustic guitars. It's extremely relatable for a person who has lost a loved one, and makes you cry. Angel Down serves as a commentary to society, has our young courage faded and are we lost in the age of the social as Gaga sings?
    In general I cannot find flaws on this album, I'd maybe tweak the tracklist a bit but that's it mainly. I'd also add Just Another Day to standard tracklist, it reminds me so much of the Beatles!

    Joanne is the polar opposite of ARTPOP in every way; it's more accessible, more cohesive, more vulnerable. The experimentation isn't as obvious and in-your-face, and it comes through with more genuine moments and thought-provoking themes than its predecessor. Many fans will be turned off by this new direction, but when it comes right down to it, it's still Gaga doing what she loves.     I am happy she's finally being herself in this era. All the music, lyrics and her voice in this album are all her true feelings, which bring us to her real heart. This is what artists do, they don't just sing or make songs to let you dance & shake your heads, but they deliver their feelings and faith in their works.

    This album has everything we can wish for. Heart-breaking songs like 'Joanne' and 'Million Reasons', crazy songs like 'Perfect Illusion' and 'John Wayne'. Lady Gaga redefined pop music. This is the best way to start and end your weekend!

Sin duda el mayor logro musical del álbum es "Hey Girl" en conjunto con dos extraordinarias cantantes como Florence Welch y Lady Gaga en conjunción perfecta.     Joanne is definitely Lady Gaga's best work yet. The album is full of emotional depth , clever lyrics , raw vocals and catchy melodies. It explores new genres and still has a 'gaga' feeling to it. Easily my favorite album from 2016.

    Com certeza esse é um dos melhores trabalhos da Gaga. Apesar de ter uma proposta diferente dos álbuns anteriores da cantora, a qualidade da produção, as letras e os vocais estão maravilhosos. Vale a pena dar uma chance pra nova repaginada que a Gaga deu na carreira. Dica: é um ótimo álbum pra se ouvir enquanto dirige, testado e aprovado.

    Each song from "Joanne" is worthy of attention. Completely different sounds but I feel the integrity and sincerity. Gaga created a wonderful atmosphere. Mature and high-quality album.

    I think this is her best work since TFM (6 years ago), I love every song on it. My favorites are Johm Wayne, Dancing in circles, Diamond heart, a-yo and hey girl.

    This album incldes new sounds, and better production. Writing such a personal album can be dangerous to big artists like Lady Gaga, however it is true that she can handle it in a incredible way. This album is one of her best. Ewan McGregor loves it!

    Unfortunately, therein lies the biggest problem with Joanne: for every time that Gaga seemingly breaks free of her shackles and embraces something more “real,” she quickly scuttles back into her comfort zone and hides behind glistening production. This probably isn’t quite the sound of the real Stefani Germanotta, but if you squint hard enough there’s a semblance of a real person in amongst the pop haze.

    Joanne is certainly not the all-conquering opus it was intended to be and will prove divisive, but it remains a daring and exciting record, delivered from one of modern pop’s most unique and singular voices.
