    Lady Gaga reinvent her music yet again as she takes on a country-pop-rock-esque sound on 'Joanne'. With album highlights 'A-YO', 'John Wayne', 'Million Reasons', and 'Come to Mama', Gaga hits another album show a la Born This Way, making an Album of the Year Grammy nomination possible. Her vocals in 'Joanne' are the best yet; the album's been on repeat for days. It's a masterpiece.

    Gaga really showed her talent as a lyricist in this record, more than in any other of her previous ones in my opinion. The songs also sound raw, in a sense where you can really hear her voice. I feel like it's one of the best albums I got to listen to in 2016.     A great album. Lady Gaga just keeps getting better and better. I love the fact you can dance, cry and chill all at once with this album. It's a lovely mix of dance, soft rock and country pop. Love it!

    Joanne is a really different sound for gaga. She evolved as an artist. The standout tracks are definitely dancing in circle, diamond hearts, AYO and John Wayne. Way to go gaga

    For you fans nostalgic for 2009, Dancin in Circles was made for you. Little sister of LoveGame for its sexual tone and of Alejandro for its latino atmosphere, Dancin in Circles is an infernal track that will keep you awake until the early hours on the dancefloor... or in bed touching yourself. Even though Dancin in Circles seems to be related to Gaga's former big hits, Stefani's musical and artistic evolution is undeniably noticeable. Either for its hybrid genre of pop, house and country, or for the raw, fierce vocals she is serving, we recognize Stefani's artistic growth. The message is clear: she is back in a better place than never before!

    4. Come To Mama

    This song is one of the most surprising tracks on Joanne. Come to Mama is a song with jazz and country sonorities that unexpectedly fills your soul with satisfaction and joy. The lyrics are simple and repetitive but relatable, the instrumental track is authentic, reminding us of a time of innocence and simplicity we may not even have been witness of. Come To Mama is a song that showcases Gaga's ability for making great still humble songs. We can see the undeniable impact her Grammy-winning jazz album Cheek to Cheek has had upon her art.

    3. John Wayne

    John Wayne is a furious, transcendent rock song with a crazy, psychotic EDM-like chorus. With John Wayne, Gaga introduces us to the wildest part of her new alter ego Joanne. The song tells Gaga's love story with a bad boy called John Wayne. You may wonder why John Wayne sounds surprisingly similar to the album title track Joanne, at least I do!

    2. Million Reasons

    This song may be the most emotional ballad Stefani has ever released next to Dope or Til It Happens To You. With Million Reasons, Lady Gaga is no longer afraid to show us her most vulnerable self. It is hard to keep oneself from crying when her raw, cracking voice screams and begs for "another reason to stay." The line "But Baby I'm bleeding, bleeding" may be one of the most heartbreaking in Gaga's whole ballads catalogue. Hillary Lindsey's backing vocals are the cherry on top of the cake. In a nutshell, Million Reasons may be Gaga's most moving, earnest and relatable songs she has ever released on an album.

    1. Angel Down

    Angel Down is the title of the wonderful, heavenly, poignant yet tragic song that ends the musical experience of the album. Originally produced by RedOne and finished by Mark Ronson, Angel Down showcases what three music geniuses are capable of when talents are reunited. With Angel Down, Gaga brings us up high in Heaven to tell us a woeful story about humanity. The minimalistic instrumental track and Stefani's melancholic, pure vocals lead us somewhere in outer space to make us think about our human experience. The Work-Tape Deluxe version of the song is the actual demo on which Gaga frees her more chaotic self to express her most inner pains.

    The most intimate album of her, it feels like you're meeting the real and vulnerable Stefani. It has a good dose of emotions (see Joanne, Million Reasons, Angel Down), energy (A-YO, Perfect Illusion, John Wayne), poppiness (Diamond Heart, Dancin' In Circles) and other original moments (Hey Girl, Sinner's Prayer, Come To Mama). It can grant a cathartic experience, if you let it pour into your soul.

I will for sure purchase a vinyl copy once it's available for those days when I want to relax and sing-along with my close friends. This is Gaga like we've never seen or heard her before, with no hard to understand lyrics or outfits. It's Gaga wanting to reflect her desired world in her music: easy, loving, and deep. I have been her fan since The Fame and I can tell you that it's refreshing to see an artist be capable of successfully reinventing herself and her sound. This album does not resemble her previous hits like Just Dance and Poker Face, but it does remind me of her less popular ballads. This is music that the world needs right now and will soon come to appreciate.     Heartfelt raw cohesive record. Lady Gaga is one of the few pop stars of her generation who really puts her heart and soul into her music. Polarizing and sometimes underrated she's the one with the talent, and Joanne proves that.

    A brand new Lady GaGa gives us an album that is really different from her previous works, with songs full of influences (rock,soul,country,...) and more classic melodies. She showed once again that, in addition to releasing great EDM tracks, she is an incredible artist, who can move us through simpler songs thanks to her amaziong voice.

    Precioso album, para mi parecer uno de los mejores en toda su carrera. Tiene baladas preciosas como Million Reasons o Joanne donde canta con una voz maravillosa. Dncing in Circles, Sinners Prayer o Diamon Heart son una gozada de escuchar y otras como Hey Girl o Just another Day te hacen sacar una sonrisa.

    de inicio eu achei que o simples e Lady Gaga não combinariam, mas com a chegada do Joanne mudei completamente essa concepção, o album está incrível essa mistura de rock, anos 90, folk e country fez a novata Joanne possuir um dos melhores albuns desse ano. 10/10

    An artist has to get out of his comfort zone and explore new lands. What Gaga does with Joanne it's exactly this travel: She is avoiding to continue with the same shapes and images. Joanne is a beautiful effort to create something real, unique and true. I love every single part of it.

    This album shows how much she was grown as an artist, her best body of work to date, a cohesive album with a mature songwriting and her most compelling production. The album doesn't have any fillers and it almost feel like every track on this album is a highlight.

    Gaga really did something we haven't seen for a while in the music world. Each song on this album is a masterpiece, with deep lyrics and great music. My favourite song is John Wayne, but I love all the other songs as well. If you really want to listen to one of the greatest album of this, with things you can't hear on the radio, listen to Joanne.

Honestly, at the beginning I was very disappointed when I heard for the very first time Perfect Illusion and when I saw Joanne's album cover. But, when I heard Million Reasons, I knew that everything would be alright. That's insane. The whole world never waited an album from Lady Gaga with instruments like guitar, piano and a trumpet, sounding in a same song.

    For those people who are worried because of Lady Gaga's new image, I say to them: DON'T WORRY. This is just a phase. A phase where she wants to win respect and show that she can be an artist with no a circus in front of her. I ask you all to enjoy this moment, because I'm pretty sure that the controversial Gaga will be back after Joanne.

Amazing album from start to finish. Gaga's voice HUGGED my heavy heart when I listened to this album. If it's healing and reflection you want, this is the album for you. There's no twerking, no heavy electronic music with meaningless lyrics. Her voice is strong yet affected, stern yet compassionate. The guitar riffs in AYO, Sinner's Prayer, Diamond Heart Dancing in Circles, John Wayne are so great. Her vulnerability shines through in songs like Million Reasons and title track Joanne. Her collaboration with Florence Welch is uplifting and both of them SOAR together, like a proper duet- the Motown vibes are everything. My favorite song is Angel Down, I have been thinking so much about the state of the world and lament the chaos and suffering that is happening everywhere, Gaga captures it perfectly with this song, having written it a few years ago with they Treyvon Martin case. Give this album a listen, it's not what you'd expect, it's so much more. Gaga can return to dance music whenever she wants, but she's a grown woman and she sees herself as having a responsibility to speak up about our injustices and challenges us as human beings.     SHE DID AGAIN! I wanted an album full of pop and dancing music, but I couldn't be happier with Joanne. There is something for everyone and anyone here! Some of the musics will make you cry, others will make you want to dance and some will make you fall in love with lady gaga all over again. Congratulations Gaga! A big step up from Artpop!

    This is a incredible album for sure, with real and inspiring lyrics, there is a sense of joy and sadness at the same time on this record, it is something beyond expectations. Diamond Heart is the best song on the album by far, but the every single song makes the listener enjoy the journey. Congrats Gaga!

    Much anticipated album finally came after 3 years haul and it's undoubtedly musically the best of Mother Monster. All songs on record are single material, and real instruments used in production make it even more natural than ever .Thanks for the fresh music Gaga!

    'The more that this industry tries to make me like everybody else, the more I like to f**k it up.' She said that almost two years ago, and this album is proof of that. It goes on the opposite direction of today's mainstream songs. Production is amazing. Her vocals are gold. Songwriting is incredible.
    Her most personal record to date.

    I'm shook. I can't believe it's a Poker Face singer. It's much more. This album is the pure work with raw voices. So different from what you hear everyday playing on the radio the same songs with no sense. This is way beyond everything I've heard before. Congrats! 10/10

    With highlights such as John Wayne, Dancin' In circles and Joanne, Lady Gaga shows off her voice in a more rock and less electronic environment - and, it works. The album successfully goes through a variety of genres and styles with Lady Gaga killing them all. Overall, the album is very enjoyable and I strongly recommend it to everyone.

It's filled with pain and resolutions, I honestly felt connected to Gaga in every way listening to this and it may just be my favorite masterpiece of hers.     I really love this album, it's probably her best album to date. I just feel like she has been waiting her whole life for doing this. Every song brings a diferent feeling, but all of them are conected by the honesty in Gaga's voice and the intimate lyrics.

    For a pop star so quirky and strange, this album feels far from the Gaga we know. With her new country style and full-frontal vocals, this Gaga feels much more real & far less plastic, than the Gaga that came before [ARTPOP].

    All in all it's a fabulous album with tearjerkers, dance anthems and country ballads. This isn't just an album for Little Monster's, it's Gaga for the world.

    JOANNE is an album that marks a before and an after,in the career of Gaga. It contains beautiful lyrics, about lost, love. This album is different to The Fame, Born This Way, it has different genres, here we can see a different Gaga, a girl with no excentric dresses. In this album we can travel to the old Gaga. If you want to listen good songs, i recommend you listen to JOANNE.

    Unfortunately, therein lies the biggest problem with Joanne: for every time that Gaga seemingly breaks free of her shackles and embraces something more “real,” she quickly scuttles back into her comfort zone and hides behind glistening production. This probably isn’t quite the sound of the real Stefani Germanotta, but if you squint hard enough there’s a semblance of a real person in amongst the pop haze.
