Cardi B breaks out with a decent debut album that suffers from clunky and rushed production, and flows that seem ripped from other rap acts, yet gets a save for decent flows and lyrics, and guest verses that save this album. The Pinkprint outsold, what a copycat! Only Bodak Yellow is good, after this step of the whole album.

One of the best debut albums I’ve heard in a while. No skips, just 13 tracks that show cohesiveness and versatility. Any song on the album can also be a hit, which is amazing to pull off without them not sounding cohesive. Cardi truly proved that she can put together a body of work. This album reflects her story and it was fascinating to look at.

    just good beats
no effort put on lyrics, I don´t see talent and hard work, I see a good music producer that makes catchy beats, most of the songs sound the same, she own #1, because catchy music hit #1's, but I see zero talent and work on songwriting, and most sound very similar but with different artist collaborating

Invasion Of Privacy is the reaction album of Cardi B when Bodak Yellow went number one on billboard. She then keeps the hits going after people assumed she was a one hit wonder.

    1. Get Up 10, at first, it gave me "All Things Go," vibes but then got bad once we got to the chorus 6/10 2. Drip ft. Migos, this song is the embodiment of a fun song 6/10 3. Brickenhead, i like to not think

    4. Bodak Yellow, money moves explains why she made this song 9/10
    5. Be Careful, a song that shows how Offset isn't deserving of Cardi B 9/10
    6. Best Life ft. Chance the Rapper, underwhelming Chance verse and overall boring 2/10
    7. I Like It, the best of the album and definitely deserving of its number 1 spot 10/10
    8. Ring ft. Kehlani, very cringeworthy and lacks meaningful lyrics 3/10
    9. Money Bag, a sad attempt to recreate Bodak Yellow 3/10
    10. Bartier Cardi ft. 21 Savage, this song was surprisingly good, I'm impressed 9/10
    11. She Bad, its bad also 1/10
    12. Thru Your Phone, its just not a good song sorry 2/10
    13. I Do ft. SZA, its good but way overhyped 6/10

Standout Songs are Bodak Yellow, Be Careful and I Like It

Overall: 5.3 (rounded down to 5) yes, it is a nice change to see more female rappers but she could have done better with half of these songs. She can make some good but that doesn't take away from the bad

This album is a mess; her flow is poor and not on beat, zero lyrics are written by her and there is no depth or emotion shown in the album. It just seems like a bunch of trap beats and shoddy lyrics thrown together for the uneducated youth.

Honestly other than "The Culture II" by the Migos, which includes her husband, Offset, this is the worst rap album I have ever heard. All the beats are similar and unoriginal. Quite boring and not up to par with her female rapper counterparts. Plus that singing was...something. Expected this to be better after recent proof of her having a ghostwriter. #Disappointed

Too much of this album is simply 50 shades of Bodak, the appeal of which was never really apparent to me anyway. There are a few great tracks where Cardi B breaks from the monotony of the rest of the album, but they are too few to make up for the rest. This debut definitely shows promise, but in the end misses the mark much more often than it hits it.

I wanst expecting much from the album, as I also listened to the two previous mixtapes and did not like them. But, I can see so much quality on this album. There is a whole identity on it, and also the sound narrative is very good for me. There is just a very good flow, track by track. Love listening to Be Careful, Best Life and I Like It in a row.

She came from virtually nothing, to something in such a short amount of space of time and she didn’t just slowly come up, she exploded onto the music scene. Her career just catapulted.

I think, and I could be wrong, but I think when Bodak Yellow went on to do so well, Cardi and her record label were under so much pressure in wanting to deliver such a great album. Being a female rapper, well, a female artist in general is actually a lot of work these days as you are always pitted against someone, in which, in Cardi’s case, she’s constantly pitted against Nicki Minaj, despite even working with each other.
Fortunately, Cardi and her team delivered because this album is going to be one of those albums in years to come that is iconic for not only laying down new foundations as a female rapper, but also laying down foundations for what looks like is going to be such a huge career.

This is just the start in Cardi’s career and I believe we’re going to see many big things from her. She’s humble, she doesn’t have an attitude towards other artists, she’s talented, and she knows what she’s doing. If she plays her cards right, she could be huge.

Well done Cardi for delivering a bomb ass album.

I'm not surprised; not surprised at all. Cardi came storming into the scene late in the 3rd quarter of 2017 with her smash hit 'Bodak Yellow'. 'Bodak Yellow' was amazing. Her cocky lyrics proved she didn't didn't give a f**k about what the haters have to say! She then dropped her next single 'Bartier Cardi' where she collaborated with multi-platinum certified rapper '21 Savage'. Again,I'm not surprised; not surprised at all. She then dropped her next single 'Bartier Cardi' where she collaborated with multi-platinum certified rapper '21 Savage'. Again, another great club-style anthem! She had impressed me so far.

A few months had passed, when all of a sudden the grammy-nominated artist dropped the news that she was releasing her debut album on April 6th. Along with that, she dropped her 90's inspired song 'Be Careful'. Despite the change and flow, I still adored the song. We had barely gotten over that song when she surprised released a new song 'Drip' featuring Migos. Despite this song sounding
more like a 'Culture II' reject track, it was still an anthem. Cardi was yet to disappoint.

The day had come. The album had dropped. After only one listen I had fallen in love. This album was a masterpiece. The lyrics, flow, production etc were all perfect. The featured artists (Migos, Chance The Rapper, Bad Bunny, J Balvin, Kehlani, 21 Savage, YG & SZA) all fit the album's aesthetic perfectly. I'm gonna go out on a limb here - Invasion Of Privacy is on the greatest debut albums of the 21st century. Cardi B proved her versatility in this album. She's on top of the rap game right now. I'm not going to be surprised if Cardi wins a Grammy award or two next year at the 61st Annual Grammy Awards. As of right now, she's definitely a big contender for Album of the Year.

THIS ALBUM IS A HIT! Despite the fact that she exceeded expectations, she showed a series of versatility with songs like "Thru Your Phone" and "I Like It". She also had really great features on the album and that is why this album will stick like white on rice.

The album starts like any other of this genre, then it goes up a bit, but then it starts to fall a horrible thing, where it puts those **** of Bad Bunny & J Balvin and then falls further down with that awful sound in "Money Bag", it seems that it will attack your ear and then if it was not enough in "She Bad" if YG did not come, I did not know if it was Snoop Dogg or Big Sean, then alreadyThe album starts like any other of this genre, then it goes up a bit, but then it starts to fall a horrible thing, where it puts those **** of Bad Bunny & J Balvin and then falls further down with that awful sound in "Money Bag", it seems that it will attack your ear and then if it was not enough in "She Bad" if YG did not come, I did not know if it was Snoop Dogg or Big Sean, then already at the middle end it is saved with a simple "ballad", without so much noise and a good collaboration with SZA.

Notes: "I Like it": Cardi B great in his part, but Bad Bunny & J Balvin came to **** the song, the rhythm is fine, but the participation of these two creatures of the shabby come out over, are garbage.
"Money Bag": The sound is unbearable, it seems that I am in a video game of the 80's or 90's or 8-bit.

CardiB en su álbum debut demuestra su autoempoderamiento y furia trap; Invasion of privacy destaca y toma el trono justificando porque ella es la diva del Bronx.

she steals flows and uses payola and isnt even that good. Bartier cardi ripped off tommy genesis, and be careful stole a song from a different rapper. not to mention she can't sing but she tried

She really cant rap like at all. They wasted good beats on her. Most of these labels are just selling beauty and not good music. Be careful was so bad.

All the people featured on the album did better than her. Khelani was so good that I wish that song was hers. She's so underrated but so talented. I was hoping Cardi would get better with the enunciation of words but I guess not. Not buying the album but I hope Khelani gets the shine she deserves.

The album was overall very underwhelming. It will not last long and probably are like milk. It’s a no from me.

This album was very good. It was short and to the point, which is what I like from albums.
Fav. Tracks: Ring, Bartier Cardi, She Bad ft. YG

Honestly wasn't expecting much from Cardi B when she announced that her debut album was going to be released on April 6th. However, the star-studded tracklist looked promising, and I decided to give the SZA-assisted track "I Do" a listen (which turned out to be absolute fire). Then I went for "Ring" with Kehlani, and i absolutely loved it too. Somehow, I ended up playing the whole record.Honestly wasn't expecting much from Cardi B when she announced that her debut album was going to be released on April 6th. However, the star-studded tracklist looked promising, and I decided to give the SZA-assisted track "I Do" a listen (which turned out to be absolute fire). Then I went for "Ring" with Kehlani, and i absolutely loved it too. Somehow, I ended up playing the whole record. Let's just say that there are no filler tracks on here. The collaborations are absolutely on point ("Best Life" with Chance is sure to be a hit if given the right single treatment), and the solo tracks are no different, seeing that Cardi carries them all out tirelessly by herself.
All of the songs prove that, indeed, the Bronx rapper can spit bars, and her flow goes hard from one track to another; some songs even see her ditch the urban hardcore sound of "Bodak Yellow" and "Bartier Cardi" to rely on an easier, more lay-back sound on "Be Careful" for example. "Thru Your Phone", another highlight, is an absolute bop, with Cardi singing the hook so sentimentally, and opener "Get Up 10" has the most personal and hardcore rap verses Cardi has ever gone for, giving "All Things Go" by Nicki Minaj a run for its money.
However, some tracks fall short here and there: "Drip" feels like a full-on Migos song, "She Bad" with YG has the worst hook on the record, and "I Like It" would've been way better without the collabs on it.
With all its ups and downs, "Invasion of Privacy" is undeniably a confident solid debut LP.

Get Up 10 and Bodak Yellow are the only strong songs. The rest are predictable trap beats, with uninspired bars (written by a ghostwriter) and no real content. Features are nothing special. Cardi's good for a verse on someone else's song, but I always suspected she couldn't carry a whole album herself. And I was right. A few good club songs but utterly forgettable.

Nothing new cardi, always using their basic rhythms and trying to be who is not, the queen believes, but remember that there are women who also work and do it better than you. arrogant

Never thought that I would say this, but Cardi B's debut is incredibly awesome. Came out swinging and proved she deserves a place in the rap world. Well done madam.

The album is good, but Cardi did not know how to balance the album's sound. It's like 13 songs, 4 are the difference and the rest looks the same. Cardi B has sinned in that, but the album is still good.

It's undeniable: girl got bars. I was expecting a rushed mess, but it's actually a pretty solid album. My favorite tracks are Bickenhead, Be Careful, Money Bag, and I Do. The only songs I don't like very much are I Like It and Best Life. Good album.

Cardi B is merely the latest to appear into the mainstream, a position she is sure to occupy for some time, and with enough potential showing on her debut release to give hope to anyone listening that she can only get better from here.

Invasion of Privacy is filled with carefully crafted tracks which ably show her many sides. Cardi B knows who she is and where she came from and she isn’t trying to hide it from anyone.

Invasion of Privacy is a cohesive piece of work that demands to be heard in full, from front to back, side to side, on the pole and on the stove.
