UncutJun 22, 2023A potent, heavy distillation of everything the group have done. [Aug 2023, p.30]
-
Jun 20, 2023It’s not as front-to-back enjoyable as Rated R or Lullabies To Paralyze, and it’s not as thematically consistent as the Mark Ronson produced Villains. So it is their worst album. But it’s still the worst album by the greatest rock ‘n’ roll band in the world. Take it for what it is.
-
Jun 15, 2023They’ve pitched their comeback between an emotional exorcism for Homme, but with enough fan-service for the die-hards; this is up there with their darkest, knottiest material to date, and will be appreciated all the more for it.

Jul 19, 2023In Times New Roman… is classic Queens of the Stone Age in all its grit and posture, but with a newly found lyrical resonance, making it a worthy late addition to their consistently upstanding catalog.
-
Jun 16, 2023With ‘In Times New Roman…’ Homme and co. have crafted a darkly seductive return, an intoxicating psychedelic record that drips with equal parts malice and renewal. It’s good to have them back.
-
Jul 26, 2023This isn’t the best place to start with Queens of the Stone Age (R and Songs for the Deaf remain their high points), but longtime fans should be happy to have them back again.
-
Jun 15, 2023The best moments on In Times New Roman… prove that Queens of the Stone Age can still reliably deliver left-of-center alt-rock thrills, and Homme’s take-it-or-leave-it charisma is as tangible as it ever was. But after almost three decades of taking on every strand of rock music and embracing both the analog and the digital, it’s disheartening, if perhaps understandable, that the band seems unsure of where to go next.

Jun 22, 2023Despues de Rated R, Songs For The Deaf y Lullabies, el mejor disco de los Queens Of The Stone Age.

-
Jun 16, 2023The rhythm section, the use of strings, the vocals, the brutality and vulnerability of the lyrics, and god the f-ing guitars!

Jun 17, 2023Can't believe all the positive reviews. In Times New Roman is easily Queens.. worst album and Villains was pretty average.

Jun 16, 2023I thought Villains was a career nadir for QOTSA. I was wrong. ITNR is their worst album to date. Not a single song makes any impression whatsoever.
