This album is a pure masterpiece .... No, I'm kidding! When we listen to a song, we have listened to them all. Really very weird this album, with the same sample for all the songs. Pathetic.

Don't waste your time. The only songs worth listening to here are the ones already released as singles (specifically 'Wild Thoughts' , 'Shining' and 'To The Max'). The rest of them are just endless loops of recycled sounds punctuated with endlessly annoying shouts of 'DJ Khaled' and some other irksome associated phrases. 2/10

Future is on this record five times. Rick Ross is on it four times. Realising this made me also realise that without collaborators DJ Khaled is nothing. Shining is such a laughable waste of one of the best female technical vocalists of our time, and it really sets the bar for the rest of this 90 minute train-wreck.

Favourite track is Wild Thoughts. God help us.
Least favourite is I Love You so Much (don't ask why they didn't capitalise the s, no-one will ever know).

You want a summer album? Listen to Funk Wav Bounces Vol. 1. It's a much more consistent record and is a genuine blast to listen to. Two points for making tracks that are kind of competent at best.

The DJ's production is very saturated, and there are things missing. An album that you can not hear many times, just a track that we can call good. DJ should evolve as Calvin and David evolved and stop calling their numbers but rather for their production.

Many of the songs on the second half slide into each other in a forgettable jumble, but Grateful’s best songs are here, too.

It can be taken as a full listen, and it rolls along easily enough, but most likely listeners will just queue the songs they like and ignore the rest of the filler.

Khaled sticks to what he knows best throughout this LP and that’s creating hits with ease. The 22 songs on Grateful aren’t anything out of the ordinary for Khaled or any of his featured guests but they remain hits nonetheless.
