Jul 24, 2020This isn't just the album of the year, it's the best of Taylor's already incredible discography.
The quadruple hit of mirrorball, seven, august and this is me trying? She did THAT.
It's minimalist and atmospheric – and you get totally sucked into another world – her songwriting has NEVER been better. -

Jul 27, 2020beautiful stuff. I like that TS is growing as a songwriting and doing more sophisticated work. She didn't have to. I love Aaron Dessner from The National and can hear the influences throughout and on piano work especially.
-
Nov 9, 2020folklore brings out the unique and exquisite lyricism Taylor has. those are her best lyrics so far.
-
Jul 25, 2020we love indie folk taylor.
such a great record.
not a single skip.
more personal, more genuine than ever, even though a lot of songs aren't even about her own life.
this is taylor swift proving once again why she deserves all the love she receives, and the superstar status she earned. -

Jul 24, 2020A trip through the soft air of a summer you never lived. A movie you watched ten years ago that's about making a film. Imagine tales of lost clothes, friends in the sea raging and ghosts, cheating on the love of your life and being cheated on.
-
Jul 26, 2020Not only it’s her best album, it’s also one of the best albums released this year! Taylor’s talent to switch genres to suit her imaginary and stories best never fails to amaze me.
-
Aug 2, 2020What i love about this album is that you can tell Taylor is making music for herself, from her heart and soul. What a lovely record filled with magical storytelling.
-
Jul 24, 2020Taylor Swift's most mature, cohesive album in her decade and a half career. In an era of singles, Folklore is an album that demands to be listened to as such. Listen to it completely in one sitting. You won't be disappointed.

Aug 28, 2020The best album Taylor ever released. Its sad slow songs make it perfect for a rainy season. The lyrics are phenomenal showing Taylor's ability to write poetic songs.
-
Jul 24, 2020It’s a perfect album. Once again Swift proves that she is the best songwriter of our generation.
-
Aug 28, 2020Taylor Swift has a habit of presenting an unexpected finesse on the table every single time but her ability to best herself every single time and leave us shocked and thrilled is something no other artist has. Certainly not her contemporaries. Folklore, like its name, will be passed down for generations.
-
Jul 25, 2020This is the Taylor Swift's we've known. Her most complete album so far. This is what I want after Red. Reminds me of Fearless album.
-

UncutAug 13, 2020It's a sharp turn to the left for Swift and a fine reminder that she is more than just a gleaming pop phenomenon, but a remarkable songwriter too. [Oct 2020, p.36]
-
Aug 7, 2020A modern-folk masterpiece which finds her moving from her previous pop bangers into stunningly simple yet sharp melodies, ‘folklore’ will be going down in Swiftie history as one of her most unexpected, and undoubtedly one of her best.

Aug 3, 2020These 16 tracks (17 on the deluxe version) play out quite pleasurably in their entirety, the joins between Swift, Dessner and Antonoff ultimately only of niche interest. But Swift’s powerful songs reach their climaxes with bittersweet orchestrations, rather than blows to the solar plexus or a ringing in the ears. Everything hovers; little truly lands.
