    THIS ALBUM! This album is beautifully written. The lyrics the tune everything! In “Cardigan” when she says “like Peter losing Wendy” that is a beautiful metaphor. Taylor Swift you have done it again and I am incredibly proud of you!

This is, arguably, one of her most drastic jumps into new sounds and production, inviting the likes of Aaron Dressler of the National, and a collaborationThis is a really powerful album.     I have been waiting 8 years for a folk-pop album from Taylor ever, since she released Red. I know a large part of her fanbase was hoping for a return to the more muted and lyrical stylings of Red and Speak Now. So wonderful that she delivered. More so, this album is more amazing than I could ever have imagined. I hope she continues down this path of continually evolving her music.

But Swift’s powerful songs reach their climaxes with bittersweet orchestrations, rather than blows to the solar plexus or a ringing in the ears. Everything hovers; little truly lands.
