Apr 9, 2021Fearless is a great album but fails to break any ground that her albums Folklore and Evermore have. Although her vocals have matured on this version, it lacks the homemade and hearty feeling that the original gave. A pleasant experience but nothing extraordinary.

Apr 12, 2021The original is still better. Not worth a remake.. no one needs this. I kinda understand why she did it but I'm not gonna listen to this album I will be sticking to the original.

Jul 22, 2021There are a few standouts among the inconsistency. This is just slightly worse than Taylor Swift's debut album.

Feb 1, 2023Both the so-called 'stolen version' and this version are completely not for me. I haven't found a single song here that I would stand by for more than 10 seconds.

Aug 20, 2022Happy for Taylor to re-record her album but I don’t think it deserves to be this high due to it being just a re-record with a few new songs

Apr 20, 2021Most obviously changed is her voice, which has strengthened and deepened over the years. Her choruses are a bit less breathy, and she glides into belting without sounding strained. There are micro-changes in inflection.

Apr 20, 2021Fearless (Taylor’s Version) states boldly, simply and perhaps, generously, that this is a story still worth telling – and a fight worth fighting.

Apr 15, 2021Swift largely re-creates the arrangements and feel of the original 2008 album, yet her voice and phrasing has aged, giving the music a hint of bittersweet gravity. That said, it's only a hint; Fearless (Taylor's Version) serves the purpose of offering new versions that could be substituted for the originals for licensing purposes. It's to Swift's credit that the album is an absorbing (if long) listen anyway.
