Apr 27, 2018This album is well in the lead for 2018 album of the year. Strong in concept, strong in character, strong in its message. But most of all it's good and fun music. Janelle was truly in the zone when she put this album together. Best songs: Crazy Classic Life, Dirty Computer, Take a Byte, Screwed, I like That, Don't Judge Me, Americans.

Mar 20, 2019The album is great. It's what a pop album should be in a perfect world. She was severly missed in music while she was away.
-
May 9, 2018A flawless production that, like her other works, is bound to be continually listened to for years and years to come. Art.

Jul 23, 2018Masterpiece. So happy Monae did it. She's just so talent, and this album is as good as ArchAndroid. Album of the year, no doubt of it
-
Apr 28, 2018Janelle Monáe was kind enough to give us the best album of the year. No words, only legends.
-
Apr 28, 2018Dirty Computer is a masterpiece. Every song is completely different and every song is saying something. Janelle makes this album her most personal to date, talking about her sexuality, racism, discovering herself, etc. This is one of the best albums of the year, but it will be possibly the best. Don't judge me and I´m afraid really broke my heart.
-
Apr 27, 2018Just magnificent along with the emotion picture its a true piece of art! True talent.
-
Apr 27, 2018Impeccable album. This wasn't as good as her 2010 masterpiece The ArchAndroid, but it would be insanely hard to beat it. In this album, she comes out as herself, presenting 12 extremely catchy R&B, pop, and hip-hop songs with her amazing ability to make any genre work for her. Buy this album! You won't regret it!
-
May 1, 2018Best album of the year so far and it's hard to beat it. I can see her wining Grammy for Album Of The Year.

Aug 11, 2018Janelle Monáe can't release bad album, she always do her best. Dirty Computer is example. Masterpiece with genius idea must have any nominations in general categories at Grammy 2019. Without a doubt, I can say that Dirty Computer is album of the year.

Apr 30, 2018This is pure perfection, pop perfection, R&B perfection,
Rap/Hip-hop perfection! It's incredible what she did with the lyrics and synths they match in a way I'd never seen before! It has a message, but It's not full of militance like Beyonce's Lemonade, It has a sexy and cool part. It is Art in its pure form. -
Apr 27, 2018My personal Album of the Year! Such a perfect masterpiece. Even though female empowerment through female sexuality is nothing new, the use of queerness in her lyrics and visuals is just bold and outstanding. Personal favs: Screwed, Django Jane, PYNK, I Like That.
-
Apr 30, 2018THIS IS THE ALBUM OF THE MILLENNIUM!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :):):)
-
May 2, 2018This is a masterpiece, every detail in this new project is beyond perfect. The themes she explores, her honesty, her truth, her story and her voice are so captivating. Catchy songs, great lyrics and why not to mention the visuals, Janelle Monáe is celebrating herself, her background and everyone who's around her. I can say this is the album of the year with any doubt.
-
Apr 27, 2018This is the album of the year! It is so great, I love it.
All the songs are my favorites -
Apr 27, 2018Every song in this album is so good! I especially love how she does the transitions between each song, makes it a very smooth listening experience. The singles were exceptional but there are no filler songs in it at all
-
Apr 30, 2018escutei um amem? nota verde, hoje, amanha, sempre, mostra como ser feminista Janelle, Beyoncé sonha com isso.
-
Apr 27, 2018This is already album of the year. Janelle Monae back with pure genius. Reflects the times perfectly - as art should be doing.

Apr 28, 2018The album is definitely a grower, however it is a masterpiece. At times it does get cringy when it mentions politics though lmao. The 'emotion picture' definitely explains the concept.
-
Apr 27, 2018A masterpiece. It is perfectly produced and seems to be a united story with no filler songs at all. Also album combines catchy beats and experimental songs really well. I especially like Make Me Feel, Crazy,Classic, Life and I Like That.
-
Apr 30, 2018She, as always, is showing versatility in her new album. The variety of genres that I can feel in this album make me want to dance every single song. I have to admit that the last songs of the record are better in lyrics and the first ones are better in voice management. Very well balanced and a b lessing for my ears.
-
Apr 27, 2018I really enjoyed this album, the lyrical content, the production, the cohesiveness, Janelle is a true artist and this album proves that
-
Apr 28, 2018Hinário demais. Amei os singles e as outras faixas também, principalmente I Got The Juice.

Oct 5, 2018Hints of Michael Jackson's melodic moonwalking lace in the type of hip-hop ennui that will appeal to fans of Solange's A Seat at the Table, plus a sexy swagger of feminist liberation that screams 2018.
-
The WireJul 13, 2018She mostly succeeds at marrying that [transcendent black pop] to a sound that’s broader and more accessible than anything she’s put out to date. [Jul 2018, p.53]

Jun 27, 2018After navigating complex matrices of identity under an indulgent, accessible veneer, Dirty Computer is ultimately--even “simply”--a cathartic assertion of self in a hostile system.
