This might as well be her most artistic and unique album and the vocals are her finest yet

After 3 years one would think Rihanna is preparing a musical masterpiece, this album is just Rihanna's attempt on making an experimental urban influenced album ala the self-titled Beyonce. Unlike Beyonce, Anti does not feel cohesive , clearly there has been a struggle in figuring out the overall sound of this album. While tracks such as Kiss It Better and Close To You highlight Rihanna's desire for timeless records others such as Woo and Work seem to burn out fast. Rihanna has created her most involved project but it feels like a mixtape and less like an album.

This is her most mature work to date! It shows her growth as an artist, the lyrics are deep and personal and extremely relatable, Kiss It Better is the highlight of this album for me.

Esse álbum merece nota 1000, Love On The Brain melhor música.

critics are so funny, they basically just said "this album has no clubbangers or chart toppers, and its an R&B album from a black pop artist which is something different that we werent expecting or were used to, so lets give it a **** rating". I saw no logical explanation as to why they didn't like the album. but its whatever.

Well, the albums start with a good song but the more we listen the more we get borred, Great songs like "Kiss It Better" & "Same Ol Mistakes", and very very bad ones like "Pose" & "Woo"

ANTi is very bad. Rihanna disappointed me with this album, I waited both and Rihanna launches an album weak, loaded with auto-tune and weak letters. :(

I'd give this a album a 3. One for Desperado, two for Love on the Brain. Not crazy about the rest of it. Though I do believe it could potentially lead to Rihanna being taken more seriously as an artist.

ANTi, surely the world, is the most urban and risky album of Rihanna's career, but most of all the album has a more focused direction and can remain obscure and understanding the ears of those who hear it.

With several postponements and exchange executive producer (change Kanye by Travis was a mistake, in fact), but there are plausible ranges as "Consideration" - which brings the wonderful SZA and opens the album with all serenity - "Desperado" and "Needed Me" (well centered , sensual and challenging), the wonderful cover "Same Ol 'Love" by Tame Impala and ballads "Higher" and "Never Ending".

The album also has tracks that resemble the soundtrack of the film 50 Shades of Grey as "Kiss It Better" and "Love on the Brain", which are extremely hot tracks and fitantes. Overall, the production focused on the R&B and Hip-Hop has made the album becomes a little homogenic, yet well thought out and prepared.

But not everything is rosy, the biggest error of the album is Rihanna have discarded the three singles: FourFiveSeconds, **** Better Have My Money and American Oxygen. As much as the tracks had about help of Kanye West, could be easily embedded in the context of the album.

Finally, it is a risky, challenging and serene album that brings a new Rihanna's vision to her career - the music chameleon who's always in search of new to his discography.

The first time I listened to this album, I really wasn't impressed. The only song that stood out was Love on the Brain (possibly the best song Rihanna has done). However, after a few listens, I must admit it has grown on me a lot. Kiss it Better, Desperdo, Woo, Never Ending, Love on the Brain and Higher definitely have the potential to really grow on me. The rest of the album just falls completely flat. Work just doesn't work at all and Same Ol' Mistakes drags on and on and on.

I understand what Rihanna was trying to achieve here, but I'm not crazy about the execution.

It's confusing, with flaky endings and mood swings, and an utterly compelling mix of not caring at all and desperately caring. [Apr 2016, p.87]
