While it may flag a bit in its latter moments though, All Nerve still has moments where the magic of this particular, iconic incarnation of The Breeders feels recaptured.

The title track and the genuinely brilliant ‘MetaGoth’ Stripped to the bone and not so much sung as intoned by Josephine Wiggs, this is one of the creepiest yet compelling compositions The Breeders have ever put their name to. From there on in, the album goes through a variety of fits and starts before descending into anticlimax.

It's The Breeders missing album, what should have been released in 1994. It's not pseudo retro or grasping for a vintage sound. It's sincereIt's The Breeders missing album, what should have been released in 1994. It's not pseudo retro or grasping for a vintage sound. It's sincere and real and classic. there's more to be said but i think you should just listen to the album yourself, its great to know there is still some musicians i like out there.

walking with a killer is also really interesting.
